My Month Of Commitment!Nb30:2

Onesime, Philemon’s slave, certainly made a mistake during his service.
He was aware that his master must be unhappy, he knew he had done wrong and that he had to be punished.
For fear that the punishment might be stormy and violent, he fled.
Onésime took refuge with Paul who was Philemon’s father in the faith.
Onesimus knew that the mere fact that Paul was a man respected by Philemon was an assurance to him, he also knew that the fact that the two men shared the same spiritual values was a strength.
Paul was a servant of God, he walked according to the will of God, and thanks to his testimony, Onesimus converted to the Christian faith.
He began to let himself be broken by the Lord and when the apostle saw his sincerity and commitment, he blessed the Lord.
Onésime had become a new person, he was ready to return to his master to be forgiven, he wanted to rectify the damage caused to Philemon, he now knew how to submit to his authority.
But only Onesimus cannot move if he does not have the support of the apostle.
Paul intervenes and writes to Philemon to implore his forgiveness and recommends to him Onesimus who is turned to the Lord.
Paul reestablishes the relationship between Onesimus and Philemon.
This story challenges us all.
Faith in Christ and love for him should unite us in great brotherhood.
Let us not neglect ourselves, let us not simplify ourselves, let us pray for one another, avoid divisions and pronounce fellowship.
We’ve got to bear spiritual fruit, we’ve got to be in the likeness of Christ, we’ve got to have a heart of forgiveness and love.
Paul knew that Philemon, because of Jesus, had to agree to be reconciled with his brother.
And this is also what God expects of us, that we can impact others and apply the dominant faith, the faith of overcomers.
This is the lesson of the day
Philemon, 1: 6 – I ask him that your participation in the faith be effective for the cause of Christ, making us recognize in us every kind of good.
May you affect many by your faith.
We are not with Jesus to please others but because his Work on the cross is perfect.
Fellowship is an essential value in the church.
We have to live as a family.
Hello here
Have a good day
