My Month Of Probity ! Ro13:13

Beloved, what can we do without determination?
What can we achieve if we do not stand firm?
Ruth understood after the death of her husband that she had to know what she wanted.
She started to work on a character trait in her that pushed her far.
She saw a special grace in her mother-in-law, she told herself that if she wanted to be like young girls of her age, if she wanted to be like Orpah, she risked ending her life in failure.
Ruth had realized that Naomie, her beautiful mother was a source of blessing, she understood that those who are attached to Naomie are restored, she trusted in the God of her beautiful mother.
Ruth came from a cursed land that had their god, she realized that if she wanted to get rid of her backgrounds, she had to position herself.
The Moabite did not hesitate to leave everything, left her country, to change her life to follow her mother-in-law.
Ruth made the decision herself, no one forced anything on her, her commitment was personal, it was her choice and she was determined to see it through.
God leaves us the choice, we are free to make choices even if it is not in the will of God.
Serving God is a decision that is totally incumbent on us, it must come from our heart, it is the expression of our love.
Ruth was determined to take care of Noamie, she was ready to seek only the happiness of her mother-in-law, she had made her her priority, she had put herself at her service without waiting, without interest, without conditions.
This is what we must do, let go of our old lives where we were attached to our happiness to marry a new life in which we serve God.
Ruth left everything behind, her family, her customs, her gods, her country, her way of life to follow Naomie.
Of course it was not an easy decision, she required huge sacrifices, but Ruth took all the risk without complaint, without regret.
Determination is the act of making a decision, a firm, tenacious resolution to a situation or a person.
We have to be persistent if we are to go far and be successful.
Elijah had several children in his school but only one, Elisha made the difference because he was not dispersed.
Determination gives us the assurance of success, prompts us to work, to overcome temptations.
This is what the Bible tells us this morning in Philippians, 3:12 – It is not that I have already won the award, or that I have already achieved perfection; but I run, to try to seize it, since I too have been seized by Jesus Christ.
Be determined to move forward in your christian work.
We want to encourage each other today not to look back, to fix our gaze on what Jesus has planned and planned for us.
Beyond the trials we are going through, do not let the devil accuse and condemn us, God will never turn his back on us, he is always ready to reach out to us and get up.
It is great to see us finish the race with faith and determination.
The finish line is within our grasp, let’s count on God to cross it.
Stop shirking our responsibilities, stop being manipulated and whining, we are Sons and we must move forward with Jesus.
And because the Lord speaks to us of the determination in our walk with him, we want to take the opportunity to ask ourselves where are we with our spiritual lives?
Are we on the right track?
Are we bearing fruit?
It is no longer good to go into regrets and feel guilty.
Let us face up to and let the message of the cross transform us, equip us and above all help us face situations with perseverance and humility.
Pray that the Lord will allow us never to stray from the course of faith,
Pray that our lives will be a testimony,
Pray that our lives will be filled with love.
Pray to persevere and win the prize in the service of the Lord.
Let us be determined men like our heroes in the Bible and live their experiences with the Lord.
