My Month Of Delivrance! Rom10:13

If the temptation is there, let’s flee.
The Bible does not tell us to fight, but to flee because no one is strong enough in the face of sin.
Each of us faces temptation and we must also be careful not to put ourselves in vulnerable situations.
All around us exposes us to temptation, obscene images in our phones or on television maintain and galvanize our sinful desires.
Let’s not make it difficult for ourselves.
We may be called cowards or fearful or weak,
It doesn’t matter as long as we resist the devil.
Joseph was serving in Potiphar’s house, he was very focused in his work but his master’s wife looked at him, wanting to sleep with him, but Joseph fled, leaving his tunic behind.
What would we have done in Joseph’s place?
Would we have had the courage to spit on all the proposals that this woman could make to him?
His master’s wife was able to change his status and position, she could offer him a better quality of life.
There are many of us who would have seized this opportunity to at least be friends with the mistress of the house because we are suffering too much or because it is an opportunity not to be missed.
But Joseph knew that his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit,
he knew that he had no right to touch what is not his,
he trusted the God he served.
It doesn’t matter if he goes to jail or loses his job,
he was not ready to compromise.
Are we tempted today?
Temptation is seduction, it is lust that leads to sin.
The enemy will always offer us material things and sensual pleasures.
Let’s learn to distance ourselves from certain associations to save our lives.
Jesus himself was tempted but he did not fall into the trap of lust into which the devil wanted to lead him.
David himself, instead of fleeing when he saw Bethsheba from his balcony, he coveted someone else’s wife and sin entered.
Gehazi was stricken with leprosy because of temptation,
he could not refrain from envying the gifts with which Naaman had been sent away.
Temptation pushes us to lose grace, the anointing, our privileges…
Samson lost his strength, his power, his vision because he could not resist Delhila, he was very attracted to foreign women.
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has come to you that was not human, and God, who is faithful, will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able; but with the temptation he will also prepare the way out of it, that you may be able to endure it.
Pray that you will not succumb to any temptation.
There is always a way out of temptation, it is up to us to find an escape,
a place to go,
another thing to do…
This verse gives us courage in difficulties, God is there with us, then we will have strength to overcome.
Let us be comforted and encouraged, God will not allow us to be tempted beyond our strength.
He has prepared a victorious outcome in advance and gives us the strength to endure the trial we are going through.
Let us lean on God’s promises whenever we are tested.
The Lord is faithful!
