My Month Of Reconstruction ! Jer31 31:4

The Lord invites us this morning to roll up our sleeves and go towards our real priorities, to commit ourselves a little more to the advancement of the work of God and of his interests.
In the book of Haggai, the people of Israel under the reign of Zerubbabel were to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple of God and build an altar for it to offer burnt offerings.
These people were living in difficult situations and had withdrawn from building the temple.
This made them look to their own plans and not to the interests of God.
This is also our case, this is how we behave, we want to improve our financial lives first before investing in our assemblies.
Is this the time for us to beautify our homes instead of rebuilding the temple?
God reproaches us for our selfish attitudes which lead us to focus on our possessions and our families.
So on this day, through the mouth of the prophet Haggai, the Lord brings clarity to this situation and warns us that we are not fulfilled because we refuse to get involved in the work of God.
We must reflect, our behavior does not honor God and we must understand that it is the service of God that conditions our lives.
The Lord warns us, he calls us out of our comfort zones to experience his grace.
He says in Haggai, 1: 8 – Go up to the mountain, bring wood, and build the house: I will be glad about it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.
Contribute in building your assembly.
Each of us has something to give, each of us has received something from the Lord.
* To go up on the mountain * means to go to receive from God, to go into the presence of God, it is to seek the glory of God, it is to consecrate oneself, it is to change its vision and to see big spiritually.
Going up requires a certain effort, it is an exercise of the mind.
* Bring wood * what is necessary for the altar of God, our offerings, our gifts, our praises, our prayers, our testimonies, our talents, our time.
* And build the house * together, let’s lay the foundations, let’s raise an altar to the Lord.
It is only like this that the Eternal rises to allow us to celebrate, it is only by actions of faith that the Father will break the lack which overwhelms us.
Let us stand up and rebuild the house of the Lord so that his name may be glorified and joy reign.
Yaweh is tired of our ingratitude, we only think about our fulfillment, no one cares about the house of the Lord, we rejoice, we organize our weddings, we invest and the temple is in ruins.
The Lord will close the doors, he will take his light away from us if we do not realize our error and if we do not take acts of faith.
Let us no longer neglect our assemblies and rebuild the wall together.
