Dad, we recognize that it’s not in our nature to do good.
We are torturers,
we are angry,
we are quarrelsome,
we are proud,
we are anything that is likely to make our environment uncomfortable,
we are all that steals peace and joy.
We love to be on our heights, we love to be superior, we love to hurt and disappoint others.
And we say to follow you and to serve you, Lord.
We say we know you yet we feed the evil within us.
Our flesh is satisfied and full when the world is lower than us, when it is in a stooped position.
Evil reigns in our hearts, there is too much bitterness in us.
We can no longer continue like this, we must develop generosity and love, we must live and sow fraternal communion.
Beloved, let us be sensitive to the situation of others and stop doing what is wrong in the sight of the Lord.
Each of us carries the root of evil, we were born with this drop in us but we can also improve ourselves by giving the smile around us.
The Bible tells us that Dorcas did good, she fed orphans, she took care of widows and gave her joie de vivre to others.
This woman has surely been disappointed and betrayed on the way, this mom was probably shocked by certain attitudes, people surely slandered her because it is in our nature but she did not stop helping his.
She must surely have suffered to see those to whom she did good evil judge her but she was doing it for God, she knew her God and it was from him that she expected the reward.
And that’s why she came back to life when death had struck her, everyone interceded for her so that the Lord would rescue her.
Her works drew light into her.
It is always thanks to the good that Hezekiah did which added fifteen years of life to him when his decree was already sealed.
Let’s not be like David who killed Uriah because he wanted his wife,
Let’s not be like Nabal who destroyed everything around him,
We are nothing like Saul who absolutely wanted to kill David because he was more talented and strategist than him,
Do not copy Penina who mortified Anne because she was sterile …
Evil is evil.
Let us aspire to be better.
Becoming is a process, it is moving forward …
The Bible tells us that in Christ the old things passed away, all things became new.
Let us abandon our old characters, leave behind sin and love the good, renew our minds and our minds in Christ.
This is the Lord’s command today.
Pray to be someone who does good in every circumstance.
James 4:17 – He therefore who knows how to do what is right and does not do it, commits a sin.
To do good is to accomplish concrete acts of love, it is not to remake the world, nor to die on the cross like Jesus, but it is to take specific actions of joy and peace.
The verse means that we know the difference between good and evil but we choose to ignore it and cover it up.
The Lord wants us to know that it is wrong and that we will go to hell if nothing is done, if we do not make a radical change in our behavior.
So it’s up to us to decide which side we want to be on.
Hello the ministry
Have a good day
