My Month Of Improvement! Ho14:5

Weeeeeee Lord,
It is this distraction that will kill us!
We don’t know what to do anymore!
We are too scattered without knowing where we are going and what we want.
Help father !!!
It’s all that is futile that interests us,
It’s all that is commonplace that attracts us,
It’s all that is base that catches our attention.
It is all that is sterile, null, superfluous that occupies us.
We remain spiritual babies because the seduction, appearances, the desires, the lusts of the world always blase us.
We do not know our priorities, our essentials and we get lost.
Jesus was the friend of Lazarus’ family.
And one day, the Lord is going to visit this family, like all of us, Marthe is willing to receive him, it is not just any guest, she wants to put him at ease, she wants to put everything in the work for a heartwarming welcome.
Isn’t it normal that we reserve a quality moment for a quality person?
It is normal, it is even very normal but it is according to human reasoning.
The Bible makes us understand in this story that it is not for us to give to the Lord, it is for him to give us life.
And Mary understood the principle, she gave up everything to sit down at the feet of Jesus to let herself be built, to let herself be filled, to let the Lord impact her and place his imprint on her.
Mary knew that nothing could bring her joy and peace apart from the word of God.
Despite Marthe’s reproaches, Mary remained focused on the essential and the Lord agreed with her and said that she chose the good part, the part that will never be taken away from her.
Many of us are running but how many cross the finish line?
How many of us are staring at the circumstances rather than looking at Jesus?
Our shortcomings, our weaknesses, our shortcomings, our failures, our incapacities hold us captive, free us from feelings of guilt and trust in Jesus.
This morning the Lord wants to get our attention before we set foot in June 2021, the Lord wants to warn us, we could not enjoy the divine grace and favors of the new month if we are devoid of focus, if our hearts are far from his altar.
We therefore have an interest in watching so as not to be disqualified, so that the evil performers do not take us out of God’s path.
We are in the process of leaving the second part of the year but many did not yet know their identity, nor their objective.
Let’s not get lost on the way, let’s stop wasting our energy, wanting to achieve a lot of unimportant things.
We don’t even use our gifts and talents, we don’t even know that we are inexhaustible sinks and that lack of focus will prevent us from exploring our resources.
Too much distraction, too much mediocrity around us, we have to know what we want to get and fight to achieve our goal.
Trust in the Lord, let’s focus on the essentials.
In 1 Timothy, 4:15 – Take care of these things, give yourself entirely to them, so that your progress may be evident to all.
Pray to focus only on important things.
May the word of God not leave our hearts or our minds, it is this which strengthens us, which builds us up, which establishes us.
Let us submit to the word, let the word have power over our thoughts, let it influence our words and actions.
Let us be more and more engaged in the work of God.
What are our constant occupations?
Let us give ourselves to the service of the Lord,
Let us sacrifice ourselves for the work of God to advance.
Let us be real and genuine when we are in the presence of God and it is as we manage the things of the kingdom that the world will witness to divine visitation in our lives.
It is the word that will make us progress, when the word will be the supreme authority in our lives, we will advance, our progress will be more recognized.
Father, as we enter the new month, may your transforming word dominate and influence us so that our progress is visible to all.
