My Month Of Ornamentation! Ez16:13

Envy may be a sin, but detaching ourselves from it is difficult, father.
How can we avoid coveting the positions of our colleagues?
How to avoid being in the place of a happy and fulfilled woman in her home?
How to avoid becoming jealous?
How not to covet a family whose children have succeeded while ours are stagnating?
When we look at the lives of some, we ourselves call them * God’s favorite children *
We would like to take the place of many, we would like to be counted among the honored.
Our hearts are still turned to the world, we still want what is not ours.
Envy in our hearts brings us much suffering.
Abel was killed by Cain because of this vice, he got angry because his brother had been accepted, appreciated by the Lord, he wanted to be in his place, he also wanted to be seen and honored.
Moses suffered from it, Miriam and Aaron criticized him a lot, they made low blows out of jealousy, they could not bear that their brother was the leader, the one who listened to God, the one who was the spokesperson.
For them, they were as qualified as Moses.
Jesus in the face of the scribes and the Pharisees was strongly contested, the envious attitude of his opponents was more and more acute.
Vasti, Assyrius’ wife was certainly pretentious but all the women wanted to be like her, everyone was frustrated by her presence, everyone wanted to see her dishonored.
So the day Vasti made a mistake by refusing to obey the king’s orders, no one supported her, everyone pleaded for her dismissal.
When it came to choosing the king’s next wife, all the women were ready to take the chair of the former first lady.
Even her girlfriends did not fail to apply for this position.
Envy is an inferiority complex, it is a root that deeply stains our lives.
It is therefore essential that our hearts be purified, that the Holy Spirit breaks us and sets us free.
How do we view the benefits of others?
We pretend to be happy about it yet we ruminate within us.
Let’s be true for once and examine ourselves in the light of the word of God with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Let’s dislodge the seed of bitterness from us and watch our hearts.
Envy keeps us in prison and in slavery,
Let us strive through prayer, generosity, love not to be overcome by envy and jealousy.
There is no place in our hearts for this sin.
Let us ask the Lord to help us achieve perfection and above all to teach us to rejoice in the happiness of others in all honesty.
Acts, 20:33 – I did not desire anyone’s silver, gold, or clothing.
Do not envy anyone else’s ornament.
Paul knew how to appreciate what God had given him, he worked to provide for his needs.
On the contrary, it was he who showed love and generosity towards everyone.
What he did, he did for the Lord, he did for the glory of God, for the sake of God, to satisfy the heart of God without expecting anything in return.
For this day, we are invited to let ourselves be broken, let God tear out this gangrene in us which destroys us and makes us fools.
Lord, we commit ourselves to you!
Help!
Hello everyone
Have a good day
