The bible says that the Servant is not greater than the master.
If we feel that we are great and pride fills our hearts, we will become a subject of scandal.
Aaron, you are a priest, you are the servant of Moses, Moses was elevated to the rank of God.
Where does it come from that you allow yourself to conspire against an anointed of the Lord?
Who gave you the right of decision in the absence of the one whom God established.
This is what Israel did, this is how you, Aaron encouraged these people who saw the hand of God to make an idol for themselves, so you’re envious that much?
How can you let others talk about the one who sacrificed himself for them?
Aaron, be careful, you are a subject of scandal, it will be said that it is you who motivated, it is you who allowed.
How can you allow Israel to talk about its leader as a stranger, like a vulgar person.
By the way, Israel, what exactly are you complaining about?
Moses is in retreat to receive our fulfillment from the Lord, but we do not trust him, we distrust him, we do not accept him as our guide, our leader.
The attitude of Aaron and Israel towards Moses is truly disgusting.
Suppose the Egyptians were aware of such a situation, they would make fun of Moses and God.
What a shame!
We must not be an occasion to fall before a difficulty, our freedom must in no case cause a brother to stumble in his walk with God.
If God allows something that causes another to sin, we must avoid it.
We must take into account the weakest, those who need to be encouraged to seek the way of God.
1 Corinthians, 8:13 – Wherefore, if any food scandalizes my brother, I will never eat meat, so as not to scandalize my brother.
Fast and pray so you will never be a subject of scandal.
Let us beware of the limits of our freedom.
This verse makes us think.
The Christians of Corinth were asking themselves the question of the meat sacrificed to idols.
Jesus is talking to us here not to seduce or trap innocent victims, not to lead others to stray from the truth and to find themselves in darkness.
For some Christians, eating the meats sacrificed to idols could make new converts uncomfortable, it gives the impression of participating in these pagan cults.
Seeing us eat it gives the impression that there is nothing wrong with mixing pagan practices with Christianity.
Eating these meats would risk becoming a stumbling block for new converts.
Christians are free to eat these meats, but they have a responsibility to consider the impact this might have on the faith of other Christians.
Let us pay attention to what we do in order to strengthen our brothers in the faith, to be concerned about the influences this may cause.
That is the teaching this morning.
Hello everyone
Good day
