The Word of God!
The Word of God!
A masterpiece that we neglect,
A library that we trample on,
A legacy that we trample on,
Many times we did not consider what the word of God said,
We preferred to take advice from the world, we surrendered to the vision of Egypt and we no longer know where to recharge our batteries.
We invested our time in bogus relationships that shrank us,
We enthroned a case that plucked us,
We have counted on our wealth to guarantee and secure our iron health and none of this has worked, we have built our universe on illusions, enchantments and here we are in the middle of nowhere, alone, confused.
We still have the opportunity to bounce back and shape our future.
We want to offer ourselves the word of God, we want to invite ourselves to read it and to discover the wonderful mysteries of God.
To attach oneself to God is to focus on him, it is to rejoice his heart, it is to become one with him.
To be attached to God is a sacrifice, it is to fix oneself on his will, it is to pay the price for the fullness of his spirit.
The pressure of the world makes us bend to their laws, we aligned ourselves, we accepted their conditions, they twisted our mentalities.
In Romans, 12: 2 – Do not conform to the present century, but be transformed by the renewal of the mind, so that you may discern what is the will of God, which is good, pleasing and perfect.
Pray to stick on the precepts of the Lord.
* To conform * is to take shape, it is to be in accordance with the system, the standards of the world.
* To transform * is to change shape, nature, appearance.
Paul asks us not to follow the pattern of Egypt but to go beyond this world and let our thoughts be renewed by the mind of Christ.
* Renewal * is to renew, to make new, to return to the initial model which had been damaged, corrupted by sin.
It is not the world that created us but it is God so let’s come back to the image of God.
Let us not seek to blindly follow, imitate and copy the people around us.
Let us not let ourselves be influenced by our families and our customs.
This is the Lord’s warning and it is because his love overflows for us.
