Violence is the fruit of a bad tree.
It strips us, it empties us, it destroys us, it stagnates us, it alienates us from our neighbour.
The violence is in a look, in an attitude, in the words.
The blood does not flow but the heart is broken, sad, torn, bitter.
Violence leaves scars and keeps people captive and in regret.
Violence gives way to misunderstandings, dilutes the authentic fraternity between brothers.
Amnon, Tamar’s half brother, is not a stranger, but a relative, a member of the family.
He planned a strategy, he hatched a plan to defile his sister, to steal her innocence, her carelessness.
