My Month Of The Intimacy With The Lord! He4:16

We celebrate youth this day in our nation,
We bless the lives of our young people,
We give thanks to the Lord for their strength, their vigor, their enthusiasm.
We are grateful, Father, to make her the valiant soldiers, the warriors, the heroes of tomorrow.
Thank you Dad, for always watching over the hope of a people.
At the same time, we want to take this feast as an invitation to prayer.
Youth cannot be fulfilled if people do not stand in the breach, it will not be able to destroy the system if the intercessors are not violent and upright.
Yes, we have a mission, that of praying for others.
Today’s instruction speaks to us about becoming intercessors.
Taking time for others is not easy, we also have our problems that eat away at us, we have the pressures of life that limit us, but praying for others is also an act of love.
The Bible tells us to be watchmen to each other, we must watch, stand in the tower and be at our post.
It is our responsibility to plead with God for the life of our neighbour.
Behold, Sodom and Gomorrah sinned against God, the transgressions happened to God who decided to destroy this city.
The Lord made his intentions known to Abraham.
The Bible tells us that what is hidden belongs to God and what is revealed is for men.
The Lord spoke of his will for one person to arise to remedy the situation, for one person to intercede and mourn before the throne of God for the souls of the people of this city.
God questions himself, he wonders if he can hide his plan from Abraham and he decides to talk about it, but the father of faith very quickly descends on his knees and negotiates for the life of this city.
During their conversation, Abraham realizes that God is flexible but only he stops in the way.
He is in talks with the Lord but he agrees with the Father, he gives his agreement for the destruction of the city if there are not ten righteous and Sodom and Gomorrah is destroyed.
Could Abraham continue the intercession? , YES.
Did he have the ability to convince God to preserve the city and forgive? YES
But he chose to stop, to be silent.
Maybe he was afraid of asking too much, maybe he was discouraged?
Maybe
Maybe…
And what had to happen happened.
That is Abraham’s action as an intercessor, but Moses managed differently when Israel sinned against God, made an idol and worshiped him.
God comes to tell Moses that he is fed up, he is going to destroy this stiff-necked and incredulous people.
But what does Moses do?
Moses tells the Lord that it is a bad decision, that people will laugh at him, that many will say that he is incapable, that he is not powerful as they say.
Moses pleaded for the cause of his people and the Lord changed his mind.
These are examples that we must take, we can be Moses, Abrahams for a nation, for our families, for our ministries.
And that is what it is about this morning in Colossians, 1:9 – Therefore we also, from the day we were informed, we do not cease to pray to God for you, and to ask that you be filled with the knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,
Pray to become a good intercessor.
Paul wants the Colossians to know God’s will for their lives, he asks God to grant them wisdom and knowledge of that will.
Paul and his brothers took time in the presence of God for the Lord to reveal himself to the Colossians.
Let us be good intercessors,
Arrange for others.
Certainly, we receive our crowns of grace.
Hello Beloveds
Have a good day
