My Month Of Acknowledgement! 1Th5:16-18

Let’s stop thinking that God doesn’t see us and that we can afford to do whatever we want.
Let’s stop being afraid or doubting the presence of God when we are in complicated situations.
The story of Jacob should teach us.
He tricked his brother, he took away his birthright and it was he who received all the blessings of his Father Isaac.
So we must first understand that Jacob is now a blessed man beyond his cheating.
On his run, he must rest, he is tired, he must breathe before continuing.
The Bible tells us that he arrived in a place where he was to spend the night, he took a stone which he made his bedside and went to bed.
Jacob had a dream in which angels were going up and down a ladder.
Above this ladder, the Lord was there and he made promises for him and for generations after him.
It was after the dream that Jacob understood that the Lord was with him and in that place.
He got scared and realized he couldn’t leave without making an altar to seal the vision.
Not only did he change the name of this place that was called Luz to baptize it Bethel, the house of God, but he also made a vow.
Jacob took before this dream God lightly as we all do.
We think that the Lord is far from us, we do not see him as able to intervene in a punctual way.
He is with us at all times, he protects us, he carries us under his wings momentarily.
Israel also doubted the presence of God, yet the ark of the covenant was the symbol of the presence of God, history makes it clear to us that the Lord was with the people of Israel, he was with the dove of cloud to guide him in their way and the dove of fire to enlighten him so that he walks day and night.
What if it wasn’t the presence of God?
Also, the disciples panicked because the sea was roaring, they saw death, anxiety seized them and worse, Jesus is there and he is sleeping, he is very calm in his corner, he is imperturbable.
As if to say that the situation is in control.
How can we have Jesus in our boat and we’re so scared?
He is there, his presence alone is enough for us.
The Lord is our shield, he is our rampart and he is omnipresent.
No matter where his children are, he is always there.
He is our best friend, our faithful companion.
Isaiah, 43:2 – If you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And the rivers, they will not overwhelm you; If you walk in the fire, you will not be burned, and the flame will not burn you.
Celebrate the Lord for his wonderful company.
It is said.
Though we are tried, triumph is assured.
Adversity may be there but the Lord is up to every need.
God does not see things the way we do, he controls times and circumstances.
Let’s just trust in God, be patient and certainly we’ll look back with thanksgiving and shouts of joy.
