My Month Of Assurance! Ps55:23

The Lord evokes an important point for a delicate season like this, a period when the abnormal has become normal, a moment when the devil subtly led us to trivialize the essential, when we are ready to do anything to have a name, where whatever the price, we want to keep our image and our notoriety at the top and above all preserve our position.
It’s a lifestyle that we like more and more, living under false clichĂ©s, appearing with masks captivates us more and more, we are very flattered to live under another identity.
All this to be acclaimed, all this to make others lift us up, all this to be appreciated, all this to keep up appearances, all this to build a good reputation.
Know that our good works also help us to look after our image, the fact of having the heart on the hand, of helping the needy allows many to have good relational health.
This is the story in the Bible which saddened us but which is interesting to illustrate what our Lord is speaking to us about this morning.
Mary was an innocent young girl, she was engaged to Joseph but she was a virgin.
The angel came to tell her that she would be pregnant.
How is it possible ?
How people in town and in the neighborhood would take it.
It was a big disappointment, a shame at that time that a girl was pregnant without being married.
Accepting God’s promise was putting her whole life on the line, even her fiancĂ© Joseph could have doubted her and walked away to preserve her integrity.
Many of us face situations of intimidation, humiliation and the fear of tarnishing our reputation and when God calls us for a project, we look first to ourselves, to our interests, our reputation.
Beloved, God’s ways are not ours, we pay too much attention to what others think around us.
Let our reputation not distort the call of God in our lives.
Let’s walk in faith like this couple.
Mary and Joseph did not say no to God’s plan, they preferred to take risks and trust in God’s will.
Their obedience allowed them to be parents of the savior of humanity, the one who led us to salvation.
Proverbs, 19:22 – What makes a man`s charm is his goodness;
Rest assured that your kindness will enhance your reputation.
Doing good seduces.
Kindness brings relief, appeasement, peace.
Kindness calms fears, soothes tensions, helps to heal the sad soul.
Kindness is a balm to our sores and wounds and it gives us stature and favor.
It is God’s advice to us, goodness binds and molds our reputation.
hello to us
Have a good day
