My Month Of Opportunity! Eccl9:11

We present a character this morning to support our proposals.
It is about Jephthah, a strong and valiant man of Gilead but the son of a prostitute.
It is an account of the book of Judges in the bible.
This hero had to bear the consequences of his mother’s actions, he was rejected, despised by his half-brothers because of this flaw that he was constantly reminded of.
This situation robbed him of his identity and stamped his existence.
Jephthah is chased out of his father’s house by his brothers who believe that he is of a soiled layer.
Jephté, at one point becomes discouraged and abandons his rights.
He has nowhere to go and he flees to the country of Tob, on the Syrian border, he settles there with the people of nothing.
Then the people of Gilead will be attacked and the elders will go and get him, they needed a leader, a warrior, a leader to prepare the offense and lead the fight against the ammonites.
This story is told to confirm God’s direction to us this morning.
Jephthah finally left his brothers, he left his father’s house because he was not honored, he was not robbed, he was not loved and accepted but God knew how to bring him back to the front of the stage.
Do not dwell in a place or with people who do not honor you.
Mark, 6:11 – And if there are people anywhere who neither receive you nor listen to you, send you away from there, and shake the dust off your feet, that it may be a testimony to them.
The gospel is offered but not imposed.
If people refuse to receive or listen to the missionaries, they must leave.
An evangelist has the will to preserve if people have an open heart but he must also be attentive to the direction of the Lord who can lead him elsewhere if people are not willing.
In any case, where we are not honored, let us get rid of the dust of the impure earth and above all do not prevent ourselves from continuing.
The Lord will surely guide us to a land that will honor us.
