Martha and Mary are sisters, they live in the same house but they are two different energies.
Martha is too distracted, she is still attached to vain things, her mind is too much on the sight, yet she is the sister of Lazarus who is the friend of Jesus.
We can understand that if Lazarus is related to Jesus, he is a Christian, he fears the Lord and walks with him.
Knowing who he is, his sisters cannot but be drawn into this grace.
But we notice that Martha is not spiritual, she is still inclined towards the carnal, she wants, like all of us, to please, to disturb herself in the organisation, she refuses to let go, she is too formal.
She wants to put Jesus at ease.
Her sister Mary, on the other hand, abandons everything, cancels everything and runs to take refuge at the feet of the Lord.
Mary understands that now is the time to connect, now is the time to receive the anointing she needs.
Mary knows very quickly that when Jesus enters a place, he changes everything, he restores everything, he frees everything and Mary has this discernment, she succeeds in making the distinction, she understands that she has nothing to give to the Lord but to receive, but to let herself be filled.
Martha is lost, upset by the attitude of her sister supported by Jesus, she is far from being a prayer partner.
Yes, Mary cannot count on Martha when it comes to opening heaven, they are not on the same wavelength, Mary’s spiritual charge is in motion than that of her sister Martha.
Mary’s spiritual load is on the move than her sister Martha’s. Martha is therefore not able to keep up with Mary’s rhythm of prayer.
Mary can spend her day in church, she has the quality to spend hours in the presence of God without getting tired, without getting discouraged, without complaining, whereas Martha is already programmed, she will run to the service at a certain time, worry about the guests at another time.
Let us be careful, when the anointing wants to work for us, when grace wants to speak for us, let us be willing and available.
These are two opposing personalities that have difficulty coming together for the work of God and that is how it works.
Let’s not choose our prayer partners because they are our church sister or because they are faithful.
A bad partner can weaken the fire in us,
A bad partner can splash us with delays and heaviness,
A bad partner is not in the breach, he is not a sentinel in time of trouble.
Moses knew that to defeat the people of Amalek he had to keep his hands raised to heaven.
But at some point his hands get tired, he needs support, he needs help, he needs his partners.
So Aaron and Hur are here to accompany him in battle.
Let us have partners we deserve, those who push us forward, those who lead us to excel and discover ourselves.
Matthew, 18:20 – For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Pray for good prayer partners.
When we agree on something in prayer, in business, in the family, we have solutions, we have answers.
Let us attach ourselves to good sources,
Let us bind ourselves to the right seed, let us staple ourselves to the right soil, let us tie ourselves to the right root.
And we will celebrate.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
