The truth is that we cannot live alone, God has purposely put the helpers of destiny in front of us, to attach us to a family, to allow us to form friendships with our neighbour.
We must also understand that as long as we have to be in a relationship, we will also be influenced by what is around us.
God puts us together so that we are stronger,
so that our prayers will be more effective, so that love will reign around us and above all that we will encourage each other.
We need to know that as much as companies make us feel good, push us up, shape us, they can be totally destructive.
Allying with the wrong people sullies our reputation,
break our motivation, even weaken our faith.
Attaching to the wrong root destroys a whole life,
contaminates and breaks a whole programme,
even pollutes our thoughts.
David was a man after God’s own heart,
he knew how to touch the heart of God,
he knew how to forget himself so that the Lord could take his place.
Satisfying God was a principle for him no matter what the cost.
All his life, David remained connected to Yaweh, which means that he raised his children in this atmosphere, he taught his children to surrender and trust in God.
We also noticed that his heir, Solomon could not maintain the course his father had left him.
Solomon loved the wrong woman, a foreigner, he brought the forbidden into their midst and the kingship that was established, stable began to falter.
Solomon was no longer focused on his goals,
he already had other interests,
he was interested in and serving the foreign gods of his wives.
Solomon told himself that this is manageable, he can change them, he is in control of his things there, no one can drag him down a path he doesn’t want to take.
He has forgotten that influences are subtle, devious and above all tenacious.
In any case, let’s be careful about our sources, the places where we draw our strength,
the people to whom we are linked,
the colleagues we confide in,
the friends we tell our stories to, the people we like so much and depend on.
Our relationships that we cultivate that strip us of our daily lives.
Proverbs, 13:20 – He who associates with the wise becomes wise, but he who pleases the foolish finds himself in trouble.
Choose your company wisely.
The verse gives us advice, if we want to be wise, let us walk with the wise, let us allow those who have wisdom to teach us how to have and maintain their inheritance.
The foolish do not succeed, they waste their time in gossip and are not productive.
So let us be wise and flirt with people who have keen discernment.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
