My Month Of Stability! Ps62:2

This morning we want to say that the one who makes the promise is faithful.
So when we receive a word from him, let’s go for it!
Abraham lived in his father’s house with his wife and his sheep.
That’s where he was born,
That’s where he grew up,
That’s where he got married.
He had never been anywhere else, his whole life was summed up in his father’s house.
He had the mentality of his locality,
he served the gods of his fathers,
He was content with what he had inherited from his father until Abraham met the Lord.
The Bible tells us that he heard a voice speaking to him.
This voice told him to leave everything behind and go to a place that it would show him.
Abraham also heard a voice telling his wife that they should go somewhere else.
No doubt Abraham was disturbed to hear this and to have to leave his comfort zone,
No doubt he thought long and hard before talking about it and taking the decision.
His wife Sara did not understand her husband’s attitude,
she must have told him about the risks and the humiliation that could ensue.
But Abraham was convinced that the voice he heard was not like the one he was used to hearing.
He just had an assurance that he was in an important season of his life.
He trusted that voice,
he was convinced it was the Lord’s.
And off he went.
Beloved, when we take risks for the Lord, he himself works for us.
When we decide to trust in the Lord,
he does not abandon us,
he does not abandon us, because we know that he who promised to watch over us is faithful,
he does not fail to keep his appointment,
he neither slumbers nor sleeps.
He takes comfort in the fact that men do not make a liar of him.
Hebrews, 10:23 – Let us hold fast the profession of our hope, for he who made the promise is faithful.
Pray that your testimony will be steadfast.
Let us be faithful to God and his word so that we can be living witnesses.
We must proclaim the good news faithfully and engrave it in our hearts and lives so that we can not only proclaim it but also live it every day of our lives.
