My Month Of Honor! Jn12:26

As soon as we’re available, we tell people how humble we are,
As soon as we have a steady job and are a little generous, we want people to proclaim our humility,
As soon as we are prosperous and don’t change our habits, others acclaim our humility.
Even those who make donations and appeal to TV call themselves humble,
Those who build and donate cathedrals, then, think only that the redemption of their souls is assured.
Humility is silencing all pride within us,
Humility means remaining a child in God’s presence, even though we are fortunate,
Humility means accepting to honor others unconditionally,
Humility means forgetting ourselves so that others can be seen.
We need to be aware that pride manifests itself in subtle ways, through words and behavior.
How do we react when confronted and humiliated? When voices are raised to break us down?
when contemptuous words wound us?
Sometimes we have to ask ourselves: how would Jesus have done it?
We have to be careful: our beauty,
our knowledge,
our possessions…
Our successes should not lead us to be proud of who we are and what we have.
The Lord answers our prayers and wants us to be happy.
This morning, the Lord speaks to us about humility, because we cannot enter a new season with heights,
we can’t continue to be full of ourselves and expect to see the glory of God.
Pride leads us away from the Lord,
Pride causes us to focus on ourselves rather than on God.
A proud person is a wretch,
a fool,
he’s weak…
He defines himself by his possessions, and that’s a shame.
Proverbs, 18:12 – Before ruin, the heart of man is lifted up; But humility comes before glory.
Pray to remain sincerely humble.
As long as we have not experienced frustration,
we are full,
we are aware of ourselves,
we know we’re the superheroes.
But let’s be careful,
we’re not in control of our next few hours,
everything can change and hit us in the face.
Just one word of advice for us as we enter a new dimension of grace,
be where you are, listen to others,
reach out and let the Lord position us.
This is where the light of day comes from,
This is where joy knocks at our door,
It’s in this that the Father multiplies.
So let us open our hearts to humility.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
