My Month Of Praises! He13:15

Abraham lived his life quietly in his country, in his homeland and very comfortably in his father’s house.
God himself came to convince him to leave everything behind for an unknown destination.
Abraham obeyed and embarked on an adventure based on a promise.
God promised to make him a great nation, to make his name great and to make him a great source of blessing.
The Lord makes him this promise and this man is not young,
he has no strength,
he has no posterity,
he has nothing to give him hope.
The Bible tells us that the Lord continues to reassure Abraham despite what his eyes see; he continues to encourage Abraham to trust him and to serve him.
Imagine us, fifty years old, but the Lord tells us that we will have children,
he doesn’t look at our age,
he doesn’t look at what men might think,
he doesn’t take into account what science says, but he makes us understand that we must align ourselves with what comes out of his mouth.
And even when he visited Abraham in his old age
he still demanded the life of that child.
Yes, that’s what Yaweh did, something we’ve been waiting for for a long time,
the day we can touch that joy, that blessing, he wants to raise it up for us.
What a disaster!
What could this patriarch do but continue to believe in this great God?
Let’s remember that when God makes a promise, he will also ask us to make a sacrifice,
we must learn to give up something important,
We must learn to live with the loss and perhaps even the death of what we hold dear.
Abraham gave up his comfort,
his reputation,
the fruits of his labour to follow a voice,
an unknown path.
And on this journey, the Lord reassured him that he would give him everything he had promised.
What has the Lord promised us that sometimes takes so long to locate us?
We have come to tell ourselves that it may drag on but it always comes to pass.
The Lord’s ways are not our ways.
He told Abraham not to fear because he is his shield.
So we invite ourselves to bless the name of the Lord for all the things he has given us.
Let us praise the Lord for his grace, which never ceases to overflow in our lives,
Luke, 2:20 – And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, according to all that had been spoken to them.
Praise the Lord for the fulfillment of his promises.
When the Lord does an extraordinary work, when our eyes have seen the greatness of God, we can only praise the name of the Lord.
Thank you, Daddy, for everything you do for us.
Thank you for your faithfulness, Lord.
May glory return to you
