My Month Of Integrity! Ps119:1

Uzziah was sixteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem.
He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as Amaziah his father had done.
He was diligent to seek God during the lifetime of Zechariah, who had understanding of the visions of God; and in the time that he sought the Lord, God prospered him.
Uzziah succeeded in everything he did because the Lord was with him, but when he was powerful, his heart was lifted up to destroy him.
He sinned against the Lord, his God, and went into the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense.
Uzziah deceived his God and turned from righteousness and holiness to pride and vanity.
Because of his leprosy, he was no longer able to go to the house of God, and he died without consolation or encouragement.
How miserable we can be when we abandon the path of righteousness and choose the path of error.
As long as Uzziah relied on God, he was helped by God. And as long as he was helped by God, he had great strength.
Many of us do as Uzziah, it is easy for us, after God has helped us and given us a measure of strength to turn our eyes away from the Lord to look at the strength, achievements, or blessings we have received.
We have to be careful if we want to keep God’s blessing.
Every time we appreciate our skills, our gifts, our achievements… And we start boasting about them, that’s bad.
Pride has grown in our hearts.
We must know that the devil’s works are subtle and always planned to destroy God’s servants.
He can use the bites of snakes that are hard to see from the outside,
poisons injected into our bodies
a little flattery received, self-praise…
We all need to examine our hearts every time,
make sure we remain humble and submit to God’s will.
Proverbs, 10:9 – He who walks blamelessly walks confidently, But he who takes crooked paths will be found out.
Avoid taking paths contrary to those of the Lord.
As long as our ways are pure and upright, we will remain firm and confident in the Lord.
But if we see others prevail, we will be consumed, humiliated and exposed.
So let’s not turn away from the spiritual path mapped out by the Lord, or else his light will no longer shine on us.
Let’s come back and sit quietly at the feet of Yaweh.
