My Month Of Knowledge! Ho4:6

We’re talking about God’s will this morning.
What is God’s will?
Many of us like to indulge ourselves and the things that make us happy.
When a situation presents itself to us, when we make decisions
or choose our paths,
we must seek God’s will.
Just because the crowd is going in one direction does not mean that it is God’s will.
The Lord asked Moses to send the spies to explore the land of Canaan that he was giving to the children of Israel.
When they returned to report back, they all agreed that Canaan is a land flowing with milk and honey and they showed the fruits of that land.
They celebrated the inheritance that the Lord had for them but pointed out a problem that made them panic.
According to them, Canaan has a powerful people,
the cities are fortified, very large and the sons of Anak are there and they are stronger,
they are giants, they are big.
Everyone was afraid, everyone complained except Joshua and Caleb, who disagreed and were convinced that they were winners.
This way of seeing and thinking made God angry because his people were challenging his will.
In the end, Israel took possession of Canaan and all those who had seen impossibilities did not enter the promised land.
God’s will is paramount, and reasoning has no place when the Lord has spoken.
Just because brilliance and beauty attract us doesn’t mean it’s God’s will.
When the Lord sent Samuel to anoint David at Isaiah.
The prophet Samuel was impressed by Eliab,
Eliab looked like Saul, but God said NO.
When Abinadab and his brothers came, God said NO.
Samuel thought he knew God’s will but he was wrong,
he was seduced by looks and appearances.
And finally, Jesse brought David and it was God’s will, he was anointed.
Let’s learn to ask the Lord what we should do and let him tell us get up and go to Damascus and there they’ll tell you everything you have to do.
Not our will but God’s alone.
Ephesians, 5:17 – Therefore dont be rash, but understand what the Lords will is.
Pray to seek God’s will for all things.
Do we know what the Lord wants from us?
Do we seek to know him?
It’s important for each of us not to be ignorant of God’s word; it’s up to us to make the effort to know what God wants in this particular season, at this particular time, in this particular period.
If God’s will is observed, we will avoid destruction.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
