My Month Of Laughter! Es8:16

Joy is a source of strength.
David and his men returned to Tsiklag, the families had been kidnapped and the town burnt down.
David is the leader and everyone turned to him to blame him for his negligence and absence from his post.
The Bible tells us that David strengthened himself to act,
he didn’t let the situation distract him,
he didn’t let the accusations destroy him,
He stood up and pursued the enemies who had risen up against them, and the Lord gave him victory.
The word of God says that the enemies rose up and marched against Jehoshaphat to make war against him.
They came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you.
Jehoshaphat was afraid, so he went to seek the Lord, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah.
The prophet Jahaziel encouraged the people to put their trust in God, who would fight for them in this matter.
Paul and Silas were thrown into prison for the sake of the gospel, but they were never downcast because their eyes were fixed on the Lord.
At no time did they panic,
at no time did they worry and the Lord glorified Himself.
Many people are broken by trials because their spirit is downcast.
We live in a world full of pressure.
God wants his children to live in peace and constant joy.
We need to be able to experience joy no matter what our circumstances.
The Lord will never let us down, he loves us.
Even if the trials have blown hard on our existence and today only a small root remains without much appearance,
the Lord will never abandon us. Today, he invites us to take courage.
Perhaps we look at the brambles, weeds and undergrowth that surround our lives… But the Lord is looking at our faith.
What state of mind are we in?
Proverbs, 17:22 – A cheerful heart is good medicine, But a downcast spirit dries up the bones.
Fast and pray that your spirit will never be cast down.
When our hearts are at peace, solutions take shape, we are happy and fulfilled,
we are ready and available for praise and worship, but when we are troubled by pain, we are blinded and cannot reach our high places.
