My Month Of Strengthening! Ps125:1

If our hearts are dry and empty of love, we cannot help others.
This is Paul’s advice to Timothy in 1 Timothy 4.
*Until I come, devote yourself to reading, exhortation and teaching.
*Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the elders.
*Attend to these things and give yourself wholly to them, so that your progress may be evident to all.
*Watch over yourself and your teaching; persevere in these things, for in so doing you will save yourself and those who listen to you.
Paul asks Timothy not to take God’s work lightly, to be careful about what he says and does, because many people are watching him.
It is by having a discipline, a spiritual hygiene that we can remain firm.
Secondly, the service of God must not be neglected.
Our development, our edification must encourage others.
And it is while we are connected to the Lord that we will influence others,
it is as we develop our intimacy with the Lord that many will benefit.
We must add that faith in the word of God is a powerful weapon.
When we look at the parable of the multiplication of the loaves, we see that the gesture and sacrifice of this little boy just confirms that with Jesus, the impossible becomes possible.
The crowd had to be fed, and there were only five loaves and two fish.
5000 people were waiting…
If we had to consult the experts, it was a lost cause.
If we had to dip into our own pockets, we’d be bankrupt.
That’s why we need to have faith in God.
Faith that changes mountains,
the faith that creates solutions.
It’s in our state of discouragement, our state of weakness, that we must give to God, that we must let the Lord transform and multiply what we have offered him.
This is where the miracle begins, the multiplication, the abundance.
Romans, 1:11 – For I desire to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, that you may be strengthened,
Pray for spiritual gifts to help strengthen you.
The text from Timothy has already made it clear that the laying on of hands communicates spiritual gifts.
We can therefore pass on this deposit, and this is what Paul tells us in the Church of Rome.
Paul authorises us to communicate our gifts to others to establish them in their faith and in their experience.
The members of the church, having received the manifestation of the gifts, will in turn be able to exercise the ministry by comforting, encouraging and strengthening one another.
We must implore the Lord to use us like Paul for the building up of the kingdom, that we may be useful like Paul for the edification of the church.
Good morning to you all
Good day to you all
