My Month Of Solidarity! Phil2:4

If we have not understood and got into the habit of praying for men of God,
it really is time to get back on track quickly.
God’s servants need help,
we must each at our own level implore God’s grace for their lives.
Scandal, confusion, corruption, conflicts… are the prerogative of pastors at the moment.
The church is scattered,
God’s children are distracted and our Lord’s anointed are also in error.
The Lord invites us to rise up as one man to intercede for our leaders.
If the head is attacked, the rest of the body will be weakened.
Everything is being done to weaken our leaders,
to make their work difficult and, above all, to prevent them from spreading the Gospel.
Instead of continuing to judge and criticise, we would do well to start praying for our heroes.
It’s not easy to lead a people, especially when unbelief and ingratitude are at work.
But let’s remember that our pastors pray and fast for us, and we too must support them and help them stay connected to the Holy Spirit.
Let’s not forget that men of God have their challenges.
Children to bring up,
a home to run,
a wife to support and a family to look after…
Sometimes our parents are so overwhelmed by their difficulties that they are even needy.
It’s up to us to stand in the gap and bring them the comfort they need.
Pray for your pastors.
Acts, 20:35 – I have shown you in every way that it is by working in this way that we must support the weak, and remember the words of the Lord, who himself said: It is more blessed to give than to receive.
It is by speaking God’s word, it is by working for God’s work that things improve,
it’s by taking part in church activities that the Lord’s grace will find us too.
We are encouraged to be of service and to use our talents.
And if we are not a source of blessing, how can we help others?
How can we support them and give them the smile they need?
Let’s remember today that the hand that gives is above the hand that receives.
The hand that gives controls and commands the hand that receives,
The hand that gives always multiplies.
Happiness and grace always accompany the hand that gives.
So beloved, let us stop taking God’s workers lightly and be grateful to God who gives us people who are available to teach us and feed us with the word of God.
Good day to you all
