My Month Of Divine Surprises! Es43:19

Sometimes we find ourselves in front of doors and we don’t always have the keys to open them.
We panic because we are limited.
These doors can be access, a promotion or something you want to have.
Beloved, the doors God opens are not always the biggest, but they are the safest, the most fulfilling, the most glorious even.
God cannot steer a business and leave us by the wayside.
The Lord doesn’t need our skills or our diplomas, let alone our qualifications, to give us the best.
Many people continue to insist in front of closed and barricaded doors, they continue to waste their time and to cry.
They don’t want to be guided,
They shrink from divine guidance.
Let us have the courage to go through the doors that God opens before us.
In Acts 12, when he saw that it pleased the Jews, he had Peter arrested again. -It was during the days of unleavened bread. –
When he had seized him and thrown him into prison, he put him under the guard of four squads of four soldiers each, with the intention of bringing him before the people after the Passover.
So Peter was kept in prison, and the church kept praying to God for him.
On the night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and there were sentries at the door, guarding the prison.
Behold, an angel of the Lord came, and a light shone in the prison. The angel woke Peter up, struck him on the side, and said, “Get up quickly! The chains fell from his hands.
The angel said to him, “Put on your belt and your sandals. And he did so. The angel said to him, “Wrap your cloak around you, and follow me.
Peter went out and followed him, not knowing that what was being done by the angel was real, and imagining that he was seeing a vision.
When they had passed through the first guard, and then the second, they came to the iron gate leading into the city, which opened of its own accord before them; they went out and entered a street. Immediately the angel left Peter.
Beloved, there are situations in our lives when praying is good but it is not enough; we also need God’s help.
We also need God’s help. There are times when we feel weak, stunned, and we are aware that only God can get us out of this situation, otherwise it’s a disaster.
Our text says that Herod mistreated the children of God,
he had power and authority,
He had just executed James, so Peter was going to follow.
King Herod had done everything he could to prevent Peter escaping.
Soldiers, chains, we can say that this imprisonment had value in the eyes of the king.
While Peter was in prison, the church was interceding, praying and calling on the Lord.
Some problems require a certain amount of prayer for the angel to intervene.
The angel gave Peter three conditions before the iron gates could be opened: *Put on his belt and sandals and wrap himself in his cloak.
The belt is the truth,
The belt is truth, the sandals are zeal for the gospel,
The cloak is the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
During the test, let us have a positive attitude by persevering in prayer.
If we pass the test, the doors will open for us.
Peter didn’t ask the angel any questions,
he didn’t complain,
he just obeyed,
He abandoned himself to the divine instructions and the doors of deliverance opened.
Pray for total dependence on the Lord so that your door may be opened.
Apocalypse, 3:8 – I know your works. Behold, because you have little power and have kept my word and have not denied my name, I have set before you an open door that no one can shut.
The Lord rewards all those who are faithful,
all those who serve and honour him.
We have no strength before men, but the Lord is so pleased to see our love and perseverance that he sets before us a door to encourage us.
Nothing is more pleasing to the Lord’s heart than when his children trust in him in all they do. Let us look to the Lord alone for the power we need in his work, and for the miracles that he alone can produce by his spirit and his word.
And let us not be like the Laodicean Christians who think they need nothing, let us recognise our own powerlessness and go to Christ who is our strength.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
