When we think that yesterday we were in a pitiful state and did not know how to get out of our torment.
When we think of all those phone calls that traumatized and stressed us.
When we look at those situations without solutions.
When we have no way out and the worries are overwhelming,
Our thoughts are scattered,
our ideas are lost and our stability is shaken.
When, in the face of so much suffering, people who used to honour and respect us laugh at us, humiliate us and ask us where our God is?
Our hearts are torn apart,
Our emotions crack,
Our courage flies away and we sometimes ask ourselves, until when Lord?
When will it be our turn?
When will we be blessed?
The Bible tells us to give thanks in all things,
Let’s not let the enemy steal our strength, our power, our smile.
Let’s not let him convince us that we are not privileged,
Let them not make us believe that no one wants us and that we are worthless.
How many times have we found ourselves crying in our beds at night, denying that the Lord has protected us all day?
How often do we have a bitter taste of life forgetting the testimonies of God?
How many times have we failed to appreciate God for the lives of our children, our families because things are not always as we want them to be.
Enough is enough, the devil will no longer manipulate us, he will no longer rob us,
he will not empty us of our substance.
It’s over, so rejoice, you who were barren
- Rejoice, thou who bearest no more *
Bring forth your joy and gladness, you who have no more pains!*
*For the sons of the forsaken shall be more than the sons of her that is married, saith the Lord.
Why choose to live in bitterness?
Why refuse to enjoy the good times that the Lord gives us?
We walk around with an air of pity, of burden.
We give off bad auras and hope that tomorrow will be better?
No, no, no, no!
We have turned the corner, we have entered our fourth month?
It is a grace if we do not know it.
The number four is the symbol of *balance, stability, rest, calm, joy*.
What can men do to us?
The Lord offers us a secret,
a piece of advice,
a thought,
a prophecy.
*Joy*
Welcome to our new month!
The month of Joy!
Psalms, 30:12 – And you have turned my lament into joy. You have untied my sackcloth and girded me with joy,
O Lord,
You have loosened my sackcloth and girded me with joy, O Lord,
Lord, Lord, Lord,
What a word!
What a blessing!
What power!
Yaweh, in this season, takes away our groans and gives us happiness,
He takes away our burdens and gives us quietness and celebration.
He takes all our wounds and restores us.
Where poverty had been proclaimed, the Lord gives us new songs.
Where our finances had been buried, the Father promotes restitution.
Is this not a reason to sing and dance in honour of God?
He has not forgotten us, he is always present.
Let us invite him,
Let us call him,
Let’s claim him,
Let us invoke him!
Where Jesus is, there is joy.
Let us rejoice because he is our comforter and he dwells in us.
Isaiah, 44:23 – Rejoice, O heavens, for the Lord has done it. Mountains, break forth into shouts of joy! You also, forests, with all your trees! For the LORD has redeemed Jacob. He has shown his glory in Israel.
Be joyful for the redemption of your person by the Lord.
One redeems what was lost, spoiled, damaged.
Jacob was a thief and the Lord transformed him, changed his mind and he became a kingdom, a victory.
And for that, the whole earth and all that is in it must come together to cheer, to bless and to glorify the name of the Lord.
The Lord just wants His people to be joyful because of His unfailing love, He expects us to have a heart of worship.
Let us seize our spiritual opportunities and trust in the Lord.
