My Month Of Testimonies! Ps75:9

https://youtu.be/dVz6yimuTgU
This morning we want to bless our God,
We want to celebrate him,
We want to acknowledge that he is God and he has not changed.
He is the God of opportunity,
He is the God of remembrance,
He is the Lord of hosts.
He is the one who comforts,
he is the one who strengthens,
He is the one who restores,
He is the one who heals.
If we rely on Jesus, he will give us a testimony,
If we trust in Jesus, he will put a new song in our mouths,
If we trust in the Lord, we will not be put to shame.
The Bible tells of a woman who suffered from blood loss for twelve years.
The scriptures do not give us her name but we know that she suffered.
She sold everything to be cured,
She pledged her inheritance, everything she had, to pay for the best specialists in the city and the country.
We don’t know if she was serving Jesus, so we can assume that since she didn’t have the solutions at the hospital, she probably went elsewhere.
She came out of there with no results.
Beloved, there are situations in which our money cannot help us,
there are trials that make us realise that our beauty is not enough to unravel a mystery.
She had already complained to everyone,
She had cried,
Her heart was saddened, especially when she realised that family and friends were tired of her and had abandoned and rejected her.
We can imagine that one of her girlfriends used to invite her to church all the time, but she refused to come to communion on the pretext that the hallelujahs were disturbing and shouted too much for nothing.
Twelve years of suffering,
Twelve years of rejection and contempt,
Twelve years of opprobrium,
Twelve years of stench.
She was exhausted,
she no longer had the means or the ability.
One day, she realised that there was a crusade in her town,
she decided to go,
She decided to try our Jesus.
When she arrived, everyone ran away from her, no one wanted to touch her.
She had heard that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and that nothing is impossible for him.
She had heard that Jesus acts even when the situation is over.
She had heard that her case was the kind that Jesus loves.
So she pulled herself together, and took courage,
She was determined,
She was motivated, committed.
She didn’t want Jesus to see her,
She didn’t want him to touch her,
She didn’t want him to pray for her,
She only wanted to have contact with the edge of his garment.
For her, if it brings blessing,
he is the bearer of healing.
Everything about him is glory and restoration.
As she ran towards Jesus, people moved away from her and the way was cleared before her.
We don’t know how she has lived through the years,
We don’t know where she got her strength and energy from,
We only know that through her, the Lord wanted to glorify Himself.
This is how the woman with the blood loss touched Jesus’ garment and was instantly healed.
Jesus turns round and complains that something unusual has just happened.
He wants to know, he insists, his disciples are surprised.
She speaks up and Jesus seals her complete restoration.
What are we suffering from, beloved, that makes us think we are going to die?
From infested blood?
A virus that eats away at us?
Metastasising cells?
It is for cases like these that Jesus wants to perform miracles,
It is when despair has reached its peak that our Lord wants to explode in glory.
The Lord told the woman with the blood loss that her faith had saved her.
Where is our faith when everything goes wrong?
Where is our confidence when we see the opposite of what we want.
Let’s just know that our Jesus is faithful and he stands last for us.
Mark, 1:40 – A leper came to him, fell on his knees and begged him, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.
Mark, 1:41 – Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, “I am willing; be clean.
Mark, 1:42 – Immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean.
Pray for a testimony of healing!
If we do not go through difficulties, we will not understand that we must come down,
we must bow down,
we must seek Jesus.
It is when we have been humbled and struck down by illness that we run to beg the Lord to heal us, that we realise that our healing depends on the Lord.
This is the attitude of the leper, his submission,
It is his dependence that touches the Lord’s heart and moves him to declare.
It is possible to bear witness to our restoration, but we must know how to diminish and let Jesus grow.
It is by giving way to the Lord that healing takes effect.
So let us know that we are witnesses if we return to the presence of God.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
