My Month Of Stability! Ps62:2

It’s our holiday month,
It’s our month of rest,
It’s our month that symbolises a new beginning,
A new covenant,
New things.
What is new must be inaugurated, dedicated.
Our Lord allows us to bounce back.
The Bible tells us that Rachel was the most loved woman,
She was the one who always received double,
She was the one who, according to the men, was fulfilled,
All the women envied her.
Everyone knew that Léa had stolen her place and that she was the favourite and the most beautiful.
So Rachel relied on her beauty,
She had her husband’s support,
Her husband’s love reassured her, so she didn’t need to make any extra effort.
While Rachel brandished her pride, Leah had her children.
She was consolidating her throne.
It was when Leah had her fourth child that Rachel realised that if she did nothing, her husband would eventually tire of her.
She realised that her beauty was not enough to win his miracle,
She realised that her husband’s love could not give her the desire of her heart.
She seemed to be happy in front of men, but when she was alone, she was in tears because she didn’t know the joy of childbirth.
She began to draw closer to God,
She began to read her Bible, to fast, to pray…
She discovered that the Lord says that he who abides in him and in whom he abides, bears much fruit, because apart from Jesus we can do nothing.
And while she was in God’s presence, God remembered her.
Beloved,
we have the one who is always there for us,
he is there when we say yes, Lord.
No support can give us the stability we need,
No help is worth the hand of our Father,
No help can soothe us like a word from heaven,
No shoulder can comfort us like Yaya’s.
We are unstable because we draw from the wrong sources,
We are unsteady because our hearts are not whole,
We are confused because our eyes still roam the earth,
We are wavering and uncertain because the seduction of the world still entices us.
Father, we need you.
Help us to stay focused on you.
2 Samuel, 22:32 – For who is God but the Lord? And who is a rock but our God?
Pray to be constantly supported by the true rock.
Our rock symbolises unshakeable solidity,
It is our shelter.
The rock symbolises the security and protection offered by the Lord.
The Lord is all-embracing,
He is our high retreat.
His presence reassures us and gives us glory where there is trouble.
So let us make our Lord our strength.
Hello family,
Good day to you
