My Month Of Stability! Ps62:2

We all aspire to freedom.
But is it the absence of constraints that we think it is?
Or is it the power to do what we want?
We travel the world in search of happiness, we think we’ll find it in marriage or in material things, but very quickly we realise that we were mistaken.
We realise that it’s not our studies or our diplomas that make us free.
Beloved, the Pharisees and scribes thought they knew everything.
As far as they were concerned, no one could teach them anything and they were religious, they had shut themselves up in a system of thought that made them proud.
Instead of finding freedom in this, they were slaves to it.
Religion does not make you free, on the contrary.
It poisons and deforms fragile souls.
The God we worship, the God of the Bible, wants to pass on to us a heritage, the knowledge of the truth.
The Bible tells us a story.
That of Naaman, who was a general in the Syrian army,
He was strong and valiant,
He enjoyed the favours of his master, who gave him great consideration.
Naaman was influential, respected and envied, but he was a leper.
He did everything he could to find solutions,
he certainly went to the big hospitals but there was no answer.
For Naaman, his status was enough to have everything he needed,
his riches could give him access to any glory but there was a desolation in his life,
a disgrace attached to his record.
Here was a self-confident man, full of life and pride, who very quickly became disillusioned.
We want to point out that Naaman was not a Christian, he served idols,
he trusted in his gods,
He had everything to be happy, but he dreamt of the freedom without which he could not be fulfilled.
There was a little slave girl in Naaman’s house,
She was at the disposal of his wife,
She was an Israelite, so she knew there was a God, and his name was Jesus Christ.
His master did not know him, but if he submitted to this authority,
if he gives his life to the Lord, he will not only be healed but also set free.
This little slave had something more, she had the Lord and her master had his possessions but was an unbeliever, did not know the truth and was not free.
Brothers and Sisters, freedom is summed up in Jesus Christ, in his word, in his covenant.
Galatians 5:1 – For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not let yourselves be yoked together again.
Pray to remain free from all forms of servitude.
The perfect life of Jesus could not deliver man from the bondage of sin.
To deliver us, Jesus had to give up his life.
The price he paid for our deliverance was the suffering he underwent on behalf of God for our sins.
Jesus is our deliverer.
Every time we are subjected to a situation of bondage, we long for deliverance, for freedom, because we were created for freedom.
So let’s be stable so that we don’t fall into the same trap.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
May God bless us all.
