We’re going to talk about three men this morning,
they are a model for all of us who claim to serve and love God.
They are Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, three people who feared God and refused to bow down to an idol.
And because of their disobedience,
they were thrown into the fiery furnace.
It was the king himself who had given the instruction to worship the golden statue, but among the people of that country were also faithful servants of God who had been brought up in/with values,
authority and identity of Jesus Christ.
So they weren’t afraid to assume their attitude of not giving in to the pressure of sin.
For them, the choice was very clear between their God and death.
How many of us are prepared to put up with anything rather than sin?
We always want to avoid situations that could trigger the fire when we have to lose something that is part of our life.
Let’s also remember that for God’s sake, we have to be ready to sacrifice something,
we must give up our honor and face others.
Let’s be willing to go through the fire for Jesus to be cleansed of sin.
In these trials, the Lord is with us,
we are not alone,
He is with us to strengthen us,
to enable us to endure and, above all, to give us victory.
When Shadrach, Meshach and Abed Nego were in the furnace,
the fire was fierce, but they were unharmed.
Faith challenged even King Nebuchadnezzar.
In God’s hand, the furnace became a theater of deliverance for his people.
Nebuchadnezzar had respect for God’s servants and granted them prosperity.
That’s why today’s instruction speaks of a repositioning of God’s children after the storm.
Daniel, 3:30 – After this, the king prospered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.
Everlasting God grants you promotion in your current environment.
Let us remember that what does not kill us makes us strong,
that which does not lose us lifts us up,
that which does not destroy us grants us prosperity.
Let’s not always see trials as a source of discouragement,
the Lord puts them before us to enrich us with graces and blessings.
Good day to you
Good day to you
