My Month Of Restoration ! Ps23:3

If we were still hesitant to mobilize for those in need,
If we weren’t yet convinced that we should reach out to the needy,
If we did not know how to care for the poor and show the love of neighbor to whom Christ calls us,
If we didn’t do good, if we didn’t help others, if we didn’t know how to be generous and manage our efforts to do good around us …
This concerns us.
Let us not be Christians who do not take care of the poor.
God wants to give us a heart disposed to generosity, turned towards our neighbor, attentive to the needs of others.
More and more, even in the house of the Lord, we have developed selfishness and individualism.
Everyone only takes care of their own interests, no one has an eye on what is going on around us, we are so insensitive.
Where did the early church with its heart go?
How can we be in the house of the Lord and lack love yet this is the first thing God recommends to us.
We take care of others according to our affinities, our appearances, our assets.
Not even a phone call or a visit to a brother in need of comfort and encouragement.
We are the first to reject those who are in need, those who are destitute.
We don’t like to see them, we criticize them, we denigrate them but know that it is also our responsibility to support those who need us.
Galatians 2:10 – They only urged us to remember the poor, which I have been careful to do.
Grow in your goods actions.
The poor will always be part of our daily life, it is a widespread scourge in our society.
Who is the poor man?
He’s sick, needy.
Paul advises us not to remain indifferent to the fate of those in need.
Jesus calls us to love one another and the best way to show our love, our compassion, is to do good to the least of us.
A woman in the bible, her name is Dorcas, all her life, she dedicated it to others.
She was present in the lives of people around her, she knew how to honor others, take care of them.
Widows were dressed by her, orphans were fed by her.
She knew how to share with love what she had.
The verse implores him not to forget the needy, it is essential, it is important.
Helping others should be our concern.
Before giving ourselves big cars, or planning relaxing trips, let us reassure ourselves that we have done good around us, to have put a smile on a face.
We also cannot do good deeds without knowing how to give, without knowing how to make sacrifices.
It is not a question of giving what is useless or what is worn out but of giving like Jesus to give.
Let’s not forget, let’s satisfy hearts by giving a smile.
Hello to us
Have a good day
