My Month Of Perspicacity ! 2Tim2:7

Here Peter and his friends went fishing.
They are regulars, experienced, they know their job, it’s their profession.
They live off it.
But one evening, against all odds, they worked all night and the fishing was completely unsuccessful.
Discouraged, they are washing their nets to return home when Jesus asks them to go back to sea to dip the nets again.
Advancing in deep waters
Here is the order of Jesus.
The deep waters are the unknown, dark places where fear and the forces of evil mingle.
For Pierre and his friends as for us, we are disturbed, upset and we see a new failure.
Jesus wants to see us leave the edges, our security, our comfort to venture into new risks.
So, we must agree to leave the shores that we know to accept to sail towards other unknown spheres which can even make us anxious.
This is the Lord’s challenge to us.
It is audacity for some, a fight for others.
Jesus invites us to leave contentment and to take a step further, to draw more knowledge, blessings, graces, revelations.
And it is in the depths that all this is found.
The story tells us that Peter, the professional knows that this attempt is useless but he obeys Jesus.
He submits to his word, he recognizes his authority and trusts him.
And the miracle happened, fishing is productive.
Peter falls on his knees, begins to confess, he sees the presence of God.
God who is there acts.
He sees only the hand of God in this incredible catch.
And this is how Peter goes from trusting the word of God to being a fisherman of men.
His faith is great, he has just met a God who is capable of the unthinkable.
How long have we spent time doubting the word of God?
How long have we read the word without any results?
How long have we neglected the word?
How long have we been Christians on board who believe we have mastered the word yet we are empty?
It’s time to let go of everything that seduces us and expand our limits.
Let’s agree to move forward in the depths of the word, let’s not be afraid, Jesus is there, he is our refuge and our security.
Decoding the mysteries of the word elevates and positions us.
Luke 24:45 – Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures.
Fast and pray to understand the depths if God’s word.
We may not understand, this is normal.
Jesus is there to allow us to lay bare, to open up all that was vague.
To recognize Jesus after his resurrection, Jesus had to allow the disciples to connect to the throne of grace in order to appreciate.
Let’s welcome Jesus as a fellow traveler, let’s listen to him without challenging him, let him touch us, open our minds to the understanding of the word and allow us to approach the scriptures with the intelligence of our hearts. .
Father, we sit at your feet, teach us.
hello to us
Have a good day
