My Month Of Wisdom ! Pr3:13

Let us be discerning as our Lord wants us to be.
We are in a year of extravagant graces, a year in which the Lord wants to make everything easier for us, but it is up to us to understand and position ourselves.
The Lord wants to establish us each in his own domain but we are not always sensitive to his will.
And this morning, one of the keys to staying in an atmosphere of favour is insight.
Insight is the ability to discern the substance of a situation.
To be discerning is to be prudent, wise, intelligent, wise.
The Lord gives us advice that we can follow to direct our steps and frame our actions.
Ladies and gentlemen, if we want to be discerning, we must return to the word.
Yes, to reading the Bible.
Let us just know that insight is not a given,
you get it,
you nurture it,
we can lose it if God is no longer our focus so we must fight to preserve it.
He who is perceptive sees what others miss,
he manages to watch his mouth,
he knows how to keep his mouth shut.
The Bible tells us that Daniel decided not to eat and drink at the king’s table because he did not want to defile himself.
Daniel refused to compromise himself.
Naturally, it was a privilege to share the king’s table,
to be in the king’s good graces but the prophet did not look at what was ephemeral, he was aware that spiritually they were different.
He knew that light and darkness could not live together and he refused.
Later, he had a dream that he has forgotten.
Looking for people who would tell him the dream and give him the explanation, he called on magicians, astrologers, enchanters…to tell him his dreams but no one could.
When Daniel enters the scene, he is aware that by himself it was impossible but he knows someone before whom nothing is impossible.
He asked the king for time to go and fast and pray for the grace of the Lord.
Daniel knew that all power had been given to him to overcome the rulers and authorities and the time to show the power of his God had come.
So he went to beg his God to intervene and give him victory.
To become discerning is a gift from God, it is a crown that only the Lord can give us.
Daniel, 12:10 – Many will be cleansed, made white and purified; the wicked will do evil and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have understanding will understand.
Pray to become insightful.
Let us give ourselves fully to the Lord.
This passage tells us that a wicked heart cannot understand the things of God,
If we do not fear God, we will always neglect strong warnings.
We don’t need human intelligence, we just need the Lord to fill our hearts with it so that we can detect the mysteries of the kingdom and let it guide us.
We are at your feet, Jesus.
We just need you.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
