The eyes are a lamp of the body, that is to say that with the eyes closed, everything becomes black, we are in the darkness.
The eyes are the center of our perception, it is the organ that illuminates our bodies, it is they who guide our movements, facilitate our interpretations.
The instruction of the day tells us Pray for the Lord to keep your eyes in good shape.
Ecclesiastes, 11: 7 – The light is sweet, and it is pleasant to see the sun.
Everyone can have their eyes but not everyone can see it the same way.
This is what drives us to understand the truths of the spiritual world.
When God opens our eyes, we can see the wonderful things he is doing to make our lives profoundly transformed and empowered by our sanctity.
When God opens our spiritual eyes, we can see the spiritual beauty that we are unable to see.
Without the word of God, we are asleep, blind.
Our purpose this morning is to give the thirst for God so that we start shouting at him.
If knowing and cherishing God is paramount for us, we must pray, we must come closer to God so that God opens our eyes.
Pray for God’s help.
