My Month of Strange Progress! Is52:13

We men, we love everything that is first, it honors us, it flatters us, it gives us the impression of being very important.
We encourage our children to be first in the class, to have the honor roll, to stand out, women fight to be the first and the only women of their husbands, they feel stronger and more reassured, they are called queen mothers, all because they occupy the first places.
Everyone is motivated and proud when they rank first in a ceremony, everyone feels different, appreciated when they are number one.
If we feel so excited when the world offers the gold medal how many times does God?
We are ready to make extraordinary sacrifices to please, to have the success of the world, to rise but we refuse to respect the divine principles.
And the size instruction of the Lord always returns to give it.
Giving provoks God, Giving obliges the angels to intervene for us, giving to our destiny a smooth path.
We are going through a drought and we are no
M longer ready to make any sacrifice.
We are not ready to give what is costing us, we are not ok to give what we love and what is important to us.
For us, as long as we go to worship, as long as we say to serve God, it is already enormous because God himself knows that we are in need and that the times are hard.
One passage in the Bible says that “obedience is better than sacrifice” to say that to be in accord with the precepts of the Lord is more than what we can give him, to adhere to his plan and to walk according to his will is beyond what we can do as a gesture.
But this is not our concern of the day.
This morning we want to talk about the beginnings.
The first fruits = first, beginning. It can represent our first fruits, our first wages, first child … everything we have first is for religious offerings, belongs to God.
We make all kinds of sacrifices, we offer our cars, our houses, our machines, our telephones … but there is also a type of sacrifice that lifts God from his seat, there is a kind of giving that grows God has to turn around, there is a kind of action that draws God’s attention.
It’s called * premices *
God is a jealous God, he claims and wants the first place in everything and for everything, if we can not give it to him, it means we don’t recognize it value. The value of our sacrifice distinguished us, and God give us what we merit.
A law in Israel says that everything that was first had to be consecrated to God because by consecrating to the Lord the first part, what will follow will be blessed and holy, it was the guarantee for strange progress.
The first fruits thus determine the continuation of a business or a blessing.
Abraham was ready to give his one to God, he obeyed.
Jesus himself was a sacrifice, he gave himself for humanity as the first son of God. God Himself has offered His unique, His first for us to be.
We think that giving offerings and dimes are sufficient,
It’s only a part of our income while the first fruits are everything.
It is a question of faith because we rely on hope, on what has not yet been manifested.
And this is what Ezekiel says, 44:30 – The first fruits of all the fruits, and all the offerings that you raise up, shall belong to the priests; you will give the priests the first fruits of your dough, that the blessing may rest on your house.
Pray to start / keep practicing first fruits.
The first fruits are all that is given in advance to boost a blessing.
We can ask ourselves where will these premices go?
It is given to the apostles, to the pastors whom the Lord has established on us, they are our spiritual cover.
Finally, the first fruits are our grate offering, our point of contact at the altar of God.
If at some point we have been over-calculating or thinking too hard before giving to God, let us know now that our life depends on the quality of our sacrifice.
So let’s dedicate ourselves to God and see the father at work.
