Man has a strong hold on the earth, it is legitimate.
Even God has given us permission, he has allowed us to multiply, to fill, to dominate, to subjugate the earth.
But by flourishing in this divine right, we let ourselves be influenced by our discoveries and our inventions, we began to believe that we could do without God, to think that we could do more than him, the dissatisfaction we played a trick and the excessive desires settled in us.
Everyone wants to be leader, rich, famous, everyone wants to see his brother honor and venerate him.
And individualism has taken place, the imbalance of manners has become established, we easily lose sight of the rights of others, our benefit first, we want everything for us and nothing for others.
Our society wants it like that, we are molded, we accomodes, we find that it is normal to benefit from others, to exploit the others especially if their profiles arrange us.
Our interests have taken over, everything is money, nothing is more free, the notion of donation has disappeared to the detriment of what we owe.
We are in an infernal spiral, the damage continues to grow, love is no longer in our jargon, it is a luxury to see the communion in our midst.
We let ourselves be chained in prisons of the world that the cousin or the child of our husbands is a slave in our houses, our employees are prisoners, we give no respite to our subordinates, they are inferior to us and the remain.
And it’s in this gear that we live, it’s nice to talk about capitalism, people sell their work force to those who have the means but unfortunately in deplorable conditions and that’s why, we have used to say that big fish eat small ones.
We do this even in church, our positions and influence are based on our wallet, and some even think that God must respond to their desires instantly.
But God still ask us to pay attention, we are equal, we are brothers.
We owe everything to God and when an instruction is given by him, let us pause to do his will better.
He says in Leviticus 25:39 – If your brother becomes poor near you, and sells himself to you, you will not impose on him the work of a slave.
Do not take advantage of the poor.
You will not impose on him, you will not force him, you will not put pressure on him, you will not blackmail him.
The poor are those who are in want, those who can not satisfy their needs, those who have no means.
And God expects us to help them instead of rejecting them.
The Lord encourages us to work together, to support each other and to be in tune, it is a sign of love and respect.
So let’s force God to better treat our neighbor.
