There’s a saying that goes:” You bake your cake you have to eat it or you made your bed, you sleep in it.” Transpose any of these (cake-bed) with issues of life. The truth of the matter is unless you are a stingy person you cannot bake a cake and eat it alone. You have to share it with others. So are the issues of life. Sometimes we think because we are going through rough times no one is impacted. Our parents, children, neighbors and colleagues are going through with us one way or another. We can become angry and vent our anger on others without reason, we can have a nervous breakdown at work or home and people around us see it, and are touched or even become silent and others are impacted. One way or the other, someone else is touched.
Let’s flip it over, knowing that, why can we help our fellow human beings when they are down? Why are so eager to point fingers as if we have never done anything wrong? Why can’t we embrace instead of rejecting the other?
Let’s become better believers. The bible says in Galatians 6:1- 5″Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
