Jesus is clearing the temple! The Lord is making a way for the more. In fact, the Lord is making room for YOU. I hear the Lord saying that He is making room for the hidden to be seen; for the low to be lifted up.
“And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons. He said to them, ‘It is written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer,” but you make it a den of robbers.'” (Matthew 21:12-13)
“Just as Esther had favor before the king, you will also have favor before the King of kings!“ |
Just as Jesus cleared out the temple, I see the Lord clearing the House of the Lord within you. The Lord is cleaning out the old and He is making room for the new. He is getting rid of the leaven so that your true “you” can rise. The Kingdom of God is rising from within you!
It was only when Judas left the scene that there was an availability for a new apostle to be positioned into the inner circle (Acts 1:12-26). I’m not saying that killing oneself is acceptable, nor is it from God. It is not! But what I am saying is that God is making room. God can only refill something old with something new if there is room for it.
The Lord is taking out the illegitimate and filling it up with the legitimate. The Lord is taking away the false to fill it up with the true. Only when the Ishmael leaves will the true Isaac take his place. Only when there is space will the Lord fill it.
Make Room for the New
There would have been no Joshua if Moses was still present. There would have been no Elisha with a double portion if Elijah was still ministering. There would be no modern-day Church if Jesus was still alive, walking upon the earth.
The Lord is making room for you. The Lord is removing the old guard because there is a new guard taking place. There is a new breed arising. The Lord has made a place for you and for your children’s children! It is time for you to make room for the Lord. It’s time for you to make space for the Holy Spirit. The Lord is not looking for your abilities but for your availability. Make yourself available before the Lord and He will use you for His glory.
Too often we are consumed with the goodwhen God wants to move us into the great. How can we move into the greater if we’re consumed with our current giftings? It’s time for us to step out of the norm and take greater risks. Do something you’ve never done before. Make yourself available to enter into the greater things. It’s time for you to make room for the Holy Spirit to have His way afresh in your life again!
A Table is Set up Before You
The Lord has set up a table of wining and dining. He has a special seat saved just for you. This special seat of blessing is yours! What’s yours is yours. I hear the Lord saying, “I am giving to you and your family your allotted portion and inheritance.” The allotment of the Lord is falling upon His people. The Lord is your portion. “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” (Psalm 23:5)
The Lord has set up and prepared many good things for you. It’s time for you to see with your very own eyes what the Lord has planned for your life, even from before the creation of the world began.
The Anointing of David
Even as David was anointed before his brethren, so will you be anointed. There is fresh oil and grace that is coming over you. The Lord is about to ordain you and affirm and confirm your kingship and place of authority before the rest of the brethren. They may have rejected you but the Lord accepted you. They may have ridiculed you but the Lord has received you. They may have misunderstood you but the Lord stands up for you. You may have been the last in line to be chosen, but the Lord is hand-picking you and moving you to the front.
The Giver’s Gift—Access to the Great
“A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.” (Proverbs 18:16)
The Lord is about to open up doors for you. These will not be just any type of common doors. These will be unusual doors of favor. The Lord is about to connect you with key people and with influencers. The Lord is about to move you up and through. The Lord is moving you into a greater place of glory and authority. “You will not be before men and women of common places, but you will be brought before kings and queens,” says the Lord. Because of the uncommon favor on your life, you will come before uncommon people.
“The Lord is not looking for your abilities but for your availability.” |
“Cornelius answered: ‘Four days ago, I was in my house praying at this, the ninth hour. Suddenly a man in radiant clothing stood before me and said, “Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your gifts to the poor have been remembered before God.”‘” (Acts 10:30-31)
Cornelius’ humble giving, good works, and prayers had made a way for the Apostle Peter to come and visit him. This became the open door for many to come and be saved in the power of Jesus Christ. A whole region was changed because of this man.
Your gift is a gatekeeper for greater destiny!
Your secret giving and prayers are making a way for angels to come and visit you. Your lifestyle of good works is making a way for Heaven to come and meet with you. The Lord knows your address and is about to visit you because your gifts have made history into the very depths of His heart.
The Lord is about to bring you before uncommon people so that you will do uncommon things. Your gift is making a way. Don’t stop your gifting and don’t stop giving. Continue to give and sow for you are about to reap a grand harvest. You are about to make history because of your uncanny faith. Your gift is making a way!
The Red Carpet
I heard the Lord say that He has rolled out the red carpet. The red carpet is a long, narrow carpet laid out on the ground for distinguished people to walk upon. It is nicely and neatly prepared for one’s arrival. It is a prepared place of blessing, so that nobody and nothing will fall and trip over on potholes, rocks, pits, and bumps. The red carpet is the predestined path of blessing.
The Lord has prepared a place for you. He has gone behind the veil for you to enter in. He has gone past the veil so that He can prepare a place in the spirit for you. Jesus has prepared your destiny along with all of your divine appointments. All you need to do is walk out upon it. All you need is to trust in Him and take a step down the crimson path of favor; the walk of fame which is surrounded by angels of light and by the great cloud of cheering witnesses!
The red carpet is the Blood of Jesus that has sanctified and prepared the very places where the soles of your feet will touch and walk upon. The Lord will not allow your feet to trip nor to stumble. The Lord is holding your hand, walking with you up the stairs of the temple of the Lord (Psalm 121:3).
Jesus Has Gone Before You
“The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”(Deuteronomy 31:8)
I believe the Lord has gone before us in every situation of our lives. Nothing is a surprise for Him. Nothing is a suddenly for the one who is in the Spirit of God. The Lord wants us to trust Him to another level and dimension. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and watch the Lord take you by the hand into places you’ve never even dreamed of. Our God is the One who makes room for us before the places of kings and queens. Just as Esther had favor before the king, you will also have favor before the King of kings!
It’s time for you to take your place. Make room and make way for the King of kings to do something great in your life.
