My Month Of Benevolence ! Jn15 :12

When the Bible warns us not to be a stumbling block for our others, we really need to take it seriously.
Man is more inclined to copy evil, which is bad.
He is more interested in the bad attitudes around him.
The seed of evil that we carry within us attracts only that which does not glorify the Father, it influences and controls our lives.
This morning the Lord exhorts us to good no matter what challenges we are going through, he recommends love and forgiveness to us.
The world is exposed to evil and many of us are given over to thoughts that plague our minds and pull us out of the way.
Even as Christians, we don’t always walk by the word of God, don’t always let social pressures dominate us, plus we easily turn away.
Here is the same church where three men served.
One of them Gaius, a good boy of integrity was always ready to reach out to the needy, to help, to be generous, he knew how to take care of the children of God and his reward was great since he prospered.
Another Diotrephes was valiant, committed, but he had negative opinions and unhealthy words.
He had a strong influence on the community, he was selfish, arrogant, domineering.
Finally, Demetrius who was a model, he followed in the footsteps of the Lord and everyone bore good witness to him.
We can clearly understand if these three men were like Christ.
And ask ourselves who are we imitating?
Our way of serving the Lord and our character will tell our story.
This is what the text from 3 John, 1:11 tells us – Beloved, do not imitate evil, but good. He who does good is of God; he who does evil has not seen God.
Be fascinated by all that is good!
John encourages us to copy what is good, to fight that evil does not seep into the church.
Let’s be ready to offer hospitality to missionaries.
All those who do evil are not of God and it is for this reason that Jesus advises us to watch over our actions, if our actions resemble the wicked, we have neither any work nor any presence of God.
When we criticize, we stir up hatred in community, we spread slander,
Do not let evil take hold of us, do not let evil enter our hearts.
Let’s copy what gives glory to the father and be living testimonies.
