Here is a new day and many have not had the grace that you and I had this morning, we were selected, we were chosen,
We have had the privilege of being set apart and being counted among God’s favorites.
We can tell ourselves that we do not have the same possibilities but let us tell ourselves this morning that the Lord gives us according to our capacities to manage.
Let us learn to give thanks for what we have, for the signs and wonders that the Lord works in our lives.
The bible informs us that we will multiply for the one who has and we will cut off for the one who has not because the one who has knows how to celebrate the name of the Lord when the other is always in complaints and worries .
We do not know how to be grateful even as Christians, we do not know how to praise and raise the name above all names, our pride, our complacency, our rivalries prevent us from having the victory over our trials.
One of the strategies to overcome the battle is to know how to celebrate God with our songs.
And that’s what Israel faced Jerico.
When we looked around there was no solution, no one could enter and no one could leave, the city was operating under a curse, the embargo was too strong, the city was in quarantine, the territory was mined and everything worked according to the altar and the system of darkness.
Several prophets have tried to silence the voice of protest over this place and some have died.
For this situation, it required the intervention of the one who had a power greater than or equal to the force which reigned in the city.
Elisha consulted the Lord who gave him a directive.
For the walls of Jerico to fall, you only have to praise, dance, celebrate for the Lord.
Isn’t that an easy solution?
But how many of us are celebrating the Lord?
When we are in the presence of God, we don’t want to move, no effort, we want everyone to know that we have a lot of problems, we want to communicate our bad smells to others yet while we are singing for the Lord , the walls of the mountains in front of us are falling.
In Psalms, 47: 7 – Sing to God, sing! Sing to our king, sing!
Celebrate the Lord with songs.
God sits in the midst of the praise of his people.
Praise attracts the presence of God and he excuses us.
Praise must come out of our mouths, it is thanksgiving that comes from thanking God for what he has done, it is recognizing the greatness of God.
So, on this last day of the month, let us not hesitate to go and acclaim the sovereignty of the one who can do anything.
Hello to us
Have a good day
