Proverbs, 31:10 – Who can find a virtuous woman? She’s more precious than perles.
Pray to become virtuous.
Becoming a virtuous woman is a process, is an apprenticeship, is a training, they are stages of experience and maturity.
The text makes us understand that this quality does not run in the streets, it is rare.
The Bible compares the virtuous to pearls, it places these people above material wealth, it gives them more value.
To be virtuous is to be reliable, entrepreneurial, generous, pious, submissive, respectful.
The passage attributes this skill to women because * woman * means * help *, her primary role is to push her man forward, to intercede for him.
She is the bride of Christ first and the Bible tells us that she is to appear before the Lord without wrinkles and spotless.
The virtuous woman signifies dignity, strength, wisdom, power, courage, valor, bravery, obedience, precious in the eyes of God.
Many of us say that we fear God, love him, know him and are ready to follow him.
How many of us are struggling to be equal to man?
How many are we who control our husbands in the name of our rights?
How many women intercede for their husbands and for their families?
How many have confided in men rather than in God?
Many homes have no intimacy with the Lord, no fellowship.
They are always ready to contradict, to confront and to upset the husband.
When the husband gives an instruction, they despise him.
They are never ready to welcome their husbands who can arrive at any time.
They do not care about the return of the bridegroom, they neglect their relationship because their lamps have gone out.
This is not a message for women only but for any child of God, we must copy this example to see if we are on the right path.
A virtuous woman cannot be found anywhere, her husband trusts her, she wins and deserves her place with her husband.
When we go back to the biblical text, we can believe that this is an ideal, perfect woman.
Yet this woman must be more practical than theoretical.
It has more value than pearls.
* Pearls * are rare, precious, sought after, admired, coveted.
The virtuous woman is the wife, the church.
Lord, enlighten us, teach us to discern and manifest these characteristics.
Grant us the capacity, the intelligence to be the best versions of ourselves.
