The love of God is real, it is genuine, we want to tell each other this morning that God loves us.
It is love that brings two people together, it is love that brings two people together, it is always from love that a relationship is born, from intimacy.
How can we explain that a normal, sensible person sacrifices, offers his only son, his heir, the one who will keep his posterity, who will perpetuate his name, who will raise his head.
You have to be crazy or you have to be overflowing with love for others to do it.
God seeing that the world was lost, everything was wrong understood that all it took was a pure blood, without spot, without sin flowing, it was all that could appease things.
In order therefore to break the ice of the curse, to tear the veil of separation between him and us, to break down the barriers that prevented our communion and to reestablish the link, Jesus had to go to the cross.
Who among us could have the courage to act thus without distinction, without calculation, without hypocrisy, without delay?
Whenever men have spoken of love, there is always an interest, we have criteria that push us to get closer to people, it is a love with ups and downs.
There is nothing in this world that love and the absence of love creates suicides, rapes … many people feel isolated, rejected, accused, misunderstood, they prefer to leave everything, abandon everything and die for lack of ‘love.
We invite ourselves to speak of a truth, of the love of God everywhere.
The devil is working to make us believe that God does not love us, he succeeded with our first parents and it will not be repeated with us.
Let’s stop thinking that God is on our level.
When we just look at the work of Jesus on the cross, it’s amazing.
What did he have to gain by letting himself be tormented, trampled on? On the contrary, he lost everything out of love.
Can we figure it out?
Love for murderers, wizards, blasphemers, mockers … like us.
No one has ever seen a greater love.
Even when we hurt him, his love always spoke, he caught an ear in full condemnation, he cried out to the Father for the forgiveness of our sins in the middle of the cross.
