This month’s theme draws our attention to the recognition that we overlook every day.
We have taken everything for granted and we no longer know how to maintain the warmth that keeps us happy.
We find it obvious and normal what we live and what we do that we no longer stop to recognize the grace of God in our lives.
Church, this behavior of us, God qualifies it as immature, inserious, irresponsible.
And he’s right, what have we really done to deserve God’s love?
And how is it that our hearts are so filled with ingratitude?
In any case, the Lord reproaches us for one thing, our unconsciousness, our immaturity.
We want to remain and remain babies and children, the Lord deplores this choice.
The Bible says that when we were children, we acted like children, we talked nonsense, we were unable to manage on our own, we did not measure the consequences of our actions, we were weak, inexperienced, easily deceived ,
But once we grow up, we become self-sufficient.
To grow spiritually is to agree to leave the milk to take solid food.
Growing spiritually is a process by which we become like Jesus Christ.
Spiritual growth is not going to church, it is not reciting Bible verses or being a leader in a congregation, it is the nourishment that the word brings us. of God.
Beloved, Abraham may have been ninety-nine years old but the Lord treated him and saw him as immature.
It is not age that gives us maturity, the Lord told Abraham to walk before his face and be blameless in genesis 17.
Abraham was an indecisive, unpositioned, lax, frivolous, evasive man and the Lord could not accomplish and manifest Himself through a wavering person.
Abraham had to be focused, objective in these actions to walk with the Lord.
Also, David gave his word to enthrone Solomon as the next king but he was confused, the man that Solomon was was lazy, characterless, incompetent, not eloquent, not valiant.
David was afraid for the future and he knew that the more the Lord wants to realize himself through a spiritually stable man, the more demanding he is.
It is therefore normal that David was doubtful and that it was necessary to speak to his son Solomon.
To reign, one must grow spiritually, one must be courageous, impose oneself and above all count on the Lord.
So, we who make efforts to get closer to God, praise the Lord because many are those who still snore.
We who know the value of God’s presence, give thanks to the Father for this opportunity.
To achieve spiritual growth is to be willing to make sacrifices, it is to go into deep water, it is to allow oneself to be broken.
2 Thessalonians, 1:3 – We must continually give thanks to God for you, brothers, as it is right, because your faith is making great progress, and the charity of each one of you toward others increases more and more.
Be grateful unto the Lord for your spiritual growth.
Thank God for our brethren who do not backslide but who hold God tight, who fall and rise again, who build their love with fellowship.
Paul gives thanks to God for his brothers, for their growing faith, for their love, for their faithfulness.
Growing spiritually is real work that we have to do.
hello to us
