My Month Of Increase! Deut1:11

Abraham left his father’s house with Lot as his son.
We must recognize that it is not easy for a man who has always lived in a village, who has never traveled, to find himself on the streets of a foreign country.
Abraham had no direction, no landmarks but he had one thing, he had a strength, *God* and he had put all his trust in it.
The Bible tells us that God did not abandon his servant and blessed the works of his hands to the point that Abraham and his nephew Lot had huge herds, they were in abundance.
However, the land where they were was not enough for their two flocks and their servants fell into quarrels.
Abraham is a man of God, he knows that if he wants to continue to lap up the grace of God, he must not encourage disputes in his environment, so he proposes to his nephew to separate from him.
Abraham is Lot’s uncle, it is to him that God made the promise but he will give the privilege to Lot to choose.
His nephew jumps at the chance and makes his choice, seizes the best part, the promising lands where everything is beautiful and green.
Abraham does not dispute, he does not complain, he says nothing, he does not worry but he knows one thing, his confidence is attached to the Eternal.
This is the crux of our study this morning.
Lot is not aware that he is blessed because Abraham is blessed, he does not realize that he is enjoying his uncle’s grace, he does not realize that his uncle wears a particular coat and does not let him oil flowing over Abraham connecting to him, he refuses to lean on his uncle’s vision.
The story tells us that Lot will take a direction, he will make a life choice, he will let seduction lead him and he will settle in Sodom and Gomorrah where people are wicked, where great sinners live in front of the ‘Eternal.
Lot walks by sight, and Abraham walks by faith.
Lot saw the immediate, the short term when Abraham saw further.
Lot lacks judgment, he thinks he has made a better choice and he loses everything.
It is always his uncle Abraham who must always intervene for his deliverance.
Let’s be careful with our choices.
It is a grace to stay on the right track.
One can begin in obedience to the Lord and then go astray like Solomon.
One can also start out as a tyrant of the gospel and end up a gladiator of the word of God like Paul.
This is why we must constantly be in the presence of God to beg that the Eternal gives us directions.
We must seek the spiritual sensitivity that leads us into the depths.
Proverbs 4:18 – The path of the righteous is like a shining light, growing brighter until the middle of the day.
Pray for the grace to dwell on the right track.
The path is something narrow, for people who walk on foot.
There is a path for the righteous and a path for the wicked.
We must not remain static, we must move, change, evolve.
When we walk in the path of justice, of righteousness, our light shines a little more every day, Jesus is our light and our model.
Pray that the Lord will help us walk in His path and change our hearts.
Thank you Lord.
hello to us
Have a good day
