After thinking about the orphan, we invite ourselves to bless our congregation.
It seems strange to say this, but we must realise that our church needs us too.
We are not extras, we are not passers-by, we are not strangers, we are talking about our altar, our place of worship.
The Lord does not want to offer us a new year and we refuse to take advantage of the opportunities he offers us.
How can we explain that we are regular in a temple but it is elsewhere that we sow, it is on the other side that we give our offerings when our assembly has needs.
We are without love for our shepherd and we believe that others will come to trust our anointing?
We want to be religious people who think they have everything under control so well that we do not even know the spiritual principles.
Let’s stop saturating the assemblies when our eyes are turned to Egypt.
Whether we see it or not, we must feed the altar of God, the house of the Lord will not lack anything, the man of God must concentrate on digging the depths of the spirit without worrying about the lack of generosity of his audience.
And blessing also comes through pain, yes, money is part of the blessing of our assembly.
We can pray for our ministry and even sing in the choir or go to evangelism, that’s fine but in all of that we need money to do God’s work.
This is our month of sharing so let us share what we have, let us lovingly distribute our goods with the needy.
Be a source of blessings for your congregation.
Acts, 2:45 – They sold their possessions and goods, and shared the proceeds among all, according to each one’s needs.
In the days of the early church, people were still pure in heart, the church was true and pure.
Everyone was involved in everyone else’s problem, everyone was concerned when a brother was in a difficult situation.
In those days, to solve a problem, people sold their goods, they gave joyfully because others had to get out of their trouble.
For them, helping their neighbour was not a problem, they were all a support for everyone and this is what we lack today.
This love, this generosity, this symbiosis that could restore the church and that unfortunately we have all lost.
But the Lord wants to tell us that it is still possible to return to this pure relationship, to this authentic communion.
We just need to trust the Lord and secure our faith in Jesus.
And certainly, we will be a testimony in the assembly to God.
So, it’s up to us!
Good morning to all
Have a good day
