My Month Of Prayers! 1Pe4:7

Having a pure heart is not cheap.
The world runs on clichés, we do everything to keep up appearances, we wear masks to be appreciated.
We like to walk around in long robes, to be greeted in public squares, to seek the first seats in the synagogues and the first places at feasts and yet our hearts are not pure, we are hypocrites.
The story of Abel and Cain tells us a lot.
The two brothers had a beautiful idea, to make an offering to the Lord.
Abel is a shepherd and Cain is a farmer.
They agreed to please the Lord’s heart.
Abel obviously offers the first-fruits of his flock and Cain, fruit.
But unfortunately, Abel is approved by the Lord and Cain is not.
Jealousy sets in, Cain develops a grudge against his brother Abel and kills him.
This is how our hearts work, it only takes another person being blessed for us to be bitter, it only takes another person being positioned, for us to be aggressive.
Jonathan was pure of heart, whether David was the next king or the most praised man, his friendship was genuine, he loved his friend as his own soul and his covenant was true.
In any case, the Lord to hope to enjoy the graces, our hearts must be pure.
Psalms, 145:18 – The Lord is near to all who call upon him, To all who call upon him in sincerity;
Pray for pure heart at all times.
Let us pray to the Lord and he will offer us his presence and above all let us call upon him with a pure heart and in truth.
If we invite God with and in formality, He will stand far away, which also means that our hearts are far away from Him.
Let us keep ourselves pure,
Let us look to Jesus and he will bring his love and light into us.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
