My Month Of Peace ! Jn14:27

We are talking about the word of God, about love for the word of God.
As we know, we are not very enthusiastic about the affairs of God.
We are unmotivated, disinterested.
We claim we have a Bible, that we are children of God, but the stories we know from that book are ones we have heard in passing.
Yet we are the followers of novels, other books that do not bring anything to our minds.
We spend money on books, we don’t say it’s useless but we say it’s not spiritual, it doesn’t nourish us,
It doesn’t refresh us,
it doesn’t strengthen us,
It doesn’t help us to become…
Let’s stop living without a bible and find it normal,
Let’s stop living our daily lives and never wanting to go and listen to the word of God.
Let’s stop training and encouraging our children to have a sharp detachment for the things of God.
The world brings nothing good apart from the ephemeral, the temporary, the here and now.
Yet even if we make a commitment to the Lord, He will help us.
Even if while reading God’s word, sleep suffocates us or distraction seizes us, we will not give up because Jesus is our help.
We want to encourage each other,
we want to exhort ourselves on the importance of God’s word.
Let us make an effort to read our Bibles every day,
It is as we grow in practice that our minds grow.
Psalms, 119:165 – There is much peace for those who love your law, and no harm comes to them.
Pray for a growing love for the word Of God.
It says so.
The verse of the day confirms it.
It is in the word of God that we get our peace,
It is in the word of God that we know how to lay our burdens at the foot of the cross,
It is in the word of God that we find our deliverance and our victory.
The love of God’s word soothes and guides us,
helps us to make better decisions.
So, if we are wise, let us draw even closer to this masterpiece.
