Lord, what you are asking of us today is not impossible, but it is difficult,
we have grown up in corruption,
we’re used to shortcuts,
we always want to negotiate everything,
we always want to be right,
We always want to be on the stage and it’s really complicated for us to combine integrity, justice and discipline in this sphere in which we have evolved.
To lack integrity is to be a hypocrite, we know that.
To have integrity is to be authentic and true in all areas.
We have allowed ourselves to be trampled by the devil,
We have become his easy prey because we no longer wear our belt of truth.
To walk with integrity and justice is to stop functioning like the world, which judges according to our appearances,
According to our wealth,
According to our diplomas,
According to our prestige,
According to our career path.
Integrity is the heart.
It’s not our fine words.
It’s the sacrifices we’re able to make for the kingdom,
It’s the time we spend before the face of the Lord,
It is the injustices we sometimes suffer in silence in order to preserve the peace.
It is the fear of God.
How many times have we played a double game, even with the Lord?
How many times have we tried to twist facts to please men?
How many times have we lacked rectitude, sincerity and truth where a life could be saved?
How do we explain this lying, this stealing, this violence in the church? In the house of God?
Beloved, the Lord only expects us to be transparent with him, that’s all.
Do we have integrity?
Are we just?
Many opportunities to compromise our integrity present themselves to us all the time.
We need to make a quality decision to reap huge rewards.
Proverbs, 2:7 – He holds in store salvation for the upright, A shield for those who walk in integrity,
Pray to walk in integrity and righteousness.
Salvation is a priceless gift that God offers us when we agree to walk sincerely with him and let him lead us.
Let us be people of integrity and righteousness and the Lord will go before us on the way.
