My Month Of Promotion! 1Sam2:8

Many people were brought up without knowing that they had the potential, the greatness within them.
We live our lives through the eyes of men, we appreciate as men appreciate, we talk as men talk, we see ourselves so far down the ladder that we don’t realize there’s a strength within us.
Let’s take a look at Gedeon, who was threshing wheat in the wine press to keep it safe from Midian.
Gedeon didn’t know he was qualified for the people of Israel.
Until the angel let him know that he was a valiant hero and that the small force he had must deliver Israel from the hand of Midian.
It was David who was tending his father’s sheep in the fields when the Lord sent Samuel to anoint him king.
The Bible tells us that the prophet wanted to put the oil on the heads of David’s brothers instead of him, because in the eyes of men, they had the appearance of people who were privileged.
But it is the psalmist who bears the anointing and grace necessary for kingship.
Beloved, elevation does not come from men; it is God who elevates.
He takes us out of the pits to lead us to the summit,
He takes us from poverty to open the gates of glory,
He dislodges us from the abyss to settle us in the high places.
2 Samuel, 7:8 – Now you shall say to my servant David, “Thus says the Lord of hosts: I have taken you from the pasture behind the sheep to be ruler over my people, over Israel;
Bless the Lord who grants you qualification for your promotion.
When the time comes for us to experience glory, that’s when the Lord wants things to be official, to be known.
Things that were hidden, he lays bare.
The Lord wants us to realize that he has done us good; he wants us to be aware of his love for us, so that we can better understand and embrace his thoughts.
He enables us to do his work,
He positions us to be sources of blessing for many.
So let us pray that the Lord will help us to tread in glory this season.
Good day to you all
Have a good day!
