My Month Of Consecration! Ps119:10

From a distance, we cannot appreciate the glory of God,
From a distance, we see the light but we don’t live it.
From afar, things are more complex,
more difficult,
more stressful.
From afar, we are more vulnerable,
more exposed,
more fragile…
It’s time to come face to face with ourselves and take stock.
We need to ask ourselves some real questions about our relationship with God.
We don’t know who we are precisely because we are distracted enough.
We miss out on our blessings because our eyes are focused on the seduction of the world.
We are busy with too many things and we don’t take the time to read our Bibles,
pray and give thanks to the Lord for his wonders in our lives.
Friends, our month of consecration is drawing to a close and we haven’t surely taken the time to negotiate our affairs, our year,
our visions,
our plans with the Lord.
The fact that we have entered the New Year satisfies us and we think it is a right,
it’s an obligatory achievement.
But life with God has to be nurtured,
it is maintained,
it’s nourished,
it’s active,
it is cultivated…
Everything can come to an end if we want to be Christians on the edge in this year,
let’s get a little closer to God’s altar.
We are spectators in the house of the Lord, with no participation, no involvement,
we are strangers in our own house.
So let us draw near to the Lord.
Psalms, 73:28 – For me to draw near to God is my good: I will take refuge in the Lord, the LORD, that I may tell of all thy works.
Pray for pleasure in drawing near to God.
Being in God’s presence will do us good.
What will keep us safe
is God’s grace.
The Lord is our victory,
it is in him that we have our peace and our joy.
He is our shelter and our protection.
Where will we find security if we do not return to the Lord?
The Lord is holding out his hand to us, let us grasp it and we will surely rest.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
